There's at least one or two more moments.

That is reassuring. Kind of shocked how violent the show is. Thanks -Cade!
That's the apex. End of three had me straight wincing and that bit in 4 was a little over the top, but from there I don't recall anything near those highs of brutality.
Episode 8
Are there? Don't let me lie to Max! Refresh my memory in spoiler tags
I forget the episode number butLittle Fisk's killing of his father was really brutal.

I wish.
Yeah, that's 8. Maybe my perspective is skewed. 8 is brutal I guess! Sorry Max, I lied D:
I'm okay with guys not being able to shoot Matt since his abilities and agility allows him to dodge bullets.

Also (episode 6)the flare cauterization was super fucked up.
There's also <episode 7 spoilers, episode 9 spoilers>
Stick chopping off that dude's hand in episode 7, they show that shit in its full glory. There's also Daredevil getting dragged by the guts with a blade.
That's true, not super gory though.

I wish.
It's really more the (ep 6 again)Russian waking up and screaming that was super disturbing about it
They would have to recast Hawkeye.
I'm okay with this idea now that I think about it.
Glad to see read such overwhelmingly positive impressions. Quick question for those versed with DeKnight's earlier show Spartacus. Is Daredevil as good as Spartacus? More specifically Spartacus' final season War of the Damned? I only just learned that DeKnight is the showrunner for this and that has me intrigued. Spartacus was one of the best shows I've ever seen and I miss it dearly. Is Daredevil on par with Spartacus? Or rather Spartacus' final season?
So tempted to binge watch this and if the show is anywhere near the quality of War of the DamnedI think that would push me over the edge.
They're both so different in tone, can't really compare the shows.

Daredevil is pretty good, but it's nowhere near as good as Spartacus. (I've only seen the first 8 episode of Daredevil so far though)
They could cast it to perfection:

edit: But this is getting off topic. Back to DareDevil!
Man some of these action scenes are awesome. Episode 7 was pretty great. Can't believe I've already killed half the season already. Although discussion about the ending of ep 7:Are we going to find out who Stick was talking to? Or is that a possible season 2 thread? And what was Black Sky supposed to be? Inhuman? Hulk-type thing?
If only we can get a Blade series on Netflix, so this thing can be wiped from our memories like the DD movie was
Just finished it.
Wow.
Stunning. The best thing the MCU has done to date. Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, the whole cast, just killed it. The finale was fantastic. The Red Suit looked a shit ton better in motion than I thought it would.
At first I was a bit disappointed by the finale, mainly becauseJust finished it.

I really wanted to seeEven so, that final bit was still memorable and amazing.him take down all those armored guys with assault rifles in a long brawl before the Kingpin moment.
I was expectingI really wanted to seeEven so, that final bit was still memorable and amazing.him take down all those armored guys with assault rifles in a long brawl before the Kingpin moment.Matt kickedthe shit out of Fisk yet Fisk was somehow more enraged and scary in that fight than any other. Probably because Vanessa was waiting.
I was expectingthe lights to go out and him to fight all those guys at the building when Fisk switched vehicles after the highway breakout
Though I do think it feels a bit weird having the show set in the MCU when it's such a huge departure in tone... there's something slightly jarring about the idea thatwhilst, simultaneously, RDJ's Tony Stark is out quipping and shooting lasers somewhere and Rocket Racoon is sat on a spaceship, tinkering with a gun.Wilson Fisk is violently crushing heads
I think it was more jarring going from Winter Soldier to Guardians. But the cool thing about the MCU and Marvel in general is that all those elements can fit. Wait till we got demons and sorcerers and mystical martial arts in the same universeJust finished episode 4 and am completely blown away so far. The production values are insane, everything is beautifully shot and the fight sequences put everything in the movies to shame. Lots of nice nods to the comic too, it put a big smile on my face whenshowed up.Turk
