Man this game is the game to beat for GOTY.
No question. Perhaps Witcher 3 will give it a run? Halo?

Guys! My PS4 just arrived. Setup and updates are being done as we speak. My only game: Bloodborne. Never played a Souls game before. Wish me luck!

Damn, after testing it myself , you can really see the difference in stamina regen with and without the hand lantern. Well, at least i played the whole game in "harder mode" lol. Don't see a difference with secondary weapons on/off
Quick end game advice guys:
1. Does NG+ start as soon as I kill Gehrman/moon presence?
2. I want to get all 3 endings in one sitting. Is there a particular order in which to do them in for best results?
3. When should I backup my save to achieve them? Will the point of no return be pretty obvious?
4. Do all stats, equipment and items carry over to NG+?
Thanks
Don't think that it's a bug. It's just a con to having it on all the time.I wonder if this is actually a bug. This behavior isn't in the item description so I'd think it'd be a bit unfair that the game wouldn't even let you know.
1. Yes
2. It's all up to what you want to see first
3. There will be a significant change to a certain familiar area. This would be a good time to set your backup.
4. Stats, equipment, and items carry over. Certain key items do not, however.
Absolutely loving this game, my first souls like game. Had to bring someone else in to take down cleric though haha.
Where should I go now? I have slain BSB (in 3rd try.. yeah proud of it that was tough lol). Then I encountered this yao ming sized dude carrying a sack and almost one shotted me with a swing of his sack. Got kicked and I was brought against my will to some yarma? yarghul? village. Walking around.. WAlking around.. Then running around, some a long tunnel that leads to a WIDE open space. THen BAM there is this boss fight (the electric one) that was triggered. Is going up against that boss my best option or there is a better way?

I picked up the litho too. on the fence with the diorama. expensive.
If the Litho didn't have the "Welcome Home, Hunter" line printed on it, I might have been tempted to order it.
I hope that whenever BB gets DLC, it adds both a proper Beast mode and some sort of opposite Kin mode that turns you intoa slimy servant of the Great Ones with power increasing with insight.
I feel you there. I intend to frame it though so with some matting (and maybe inset screen caps to take up some space) it'll be fine.If the Litho didn't have the "Welcome Home, Hunter" line printed on it, I might have been tempted to order it.
Martyr Logarius, I fucking hate this guy, been trying to get through this castle for literally 4 hour now, and I get so close to killing him each time. Can we all agree that an enemy flying in the air (causing you to lock off him) in a game that doesn't properly let you look 'up' is bad design?

No, there is a lamp too.
Look around some more. You can reach the lamp without a single enemy encounter.

I'm having a lot of trouble fighting the Blood-starved Beast and I'm wondering if my stats need an upgrade.
I'm sure that this is a question I can find info on elsewhere, but Neogaf is the only gaming related website I can access at work (that I frequent anyway) so I'm asking here.
Arcane and Bloodtinge, what exactly do they relate to?
The other stats are pretty self-explanatory, but would upgrading my endurance and health be the way to go, or should I concentrate on the other ones?
Other than being underpowered, I have read that I need to use blunderbuss and parry, as well as fire paper and/or molotovs to weaken the boss, but I cannot kill him once he reaches phase 2 and 3. He just moves so much faster and does tremendous damage with his poison.
Thanks jut bought the bloodborne figure :3Not sure if this has been posted yet, but Bloodborne gear is up on the Playstation gear store... Including a dope 300 print lithograph.

No. It's easy to avoid and you just re lock on when he's back on the ground.
I think that's about it over there, yes! The only thing you have left is the Nightmare's boss and the last boss, but just in case you missed a few (oh believe me, it might be a FEW) optional areas, yeah, make a duplicate save!
you can do the Chalice dungeons even in NG+, BUT make sure you get the Red Jelly in the Library before you finish the game! It's in a chest next to the exit IIRC, you'll need that to create the very last Chalice
how many umbilical cords do you have so far?
you don't need to upload your save yet
after mergo's wet nurse the final boss opens up, at that point you can upload your save, get as many of the endings as you want, and then either do the chalice stuff for trophies or go into ng+ and do the chalice stuff later
I keep seeing so many complaints about, even though he's super susceptible to parries. It took me like 5 tries to get the trick down I'll admit. The boss I had the most trouble with in the game wasLogarius, and that was mostly because of the annoying healing.Amelia
God damn it Sony. Sell this to me in Norway! Not sure if this has been posted yet, but Bloodborne gear is up on the Playstation gear store... Including a dope 300 print lithograph.

I think his point is he goes off screen and you can't see when he'll attack you.
For dealing with that particular move you just have to get used to the timing and roll accordingly or roll like crazy and hope for the best, I guess.

Are we talking about the attack where he vertically flies up before coming down on you? That is so easy to roll...
Didn't even know he could be parried. Guess it makes sense.
