so when you kill ROM's little spiders they don't respawn?

well not really, each phase brings another set of spiders. I beat him 2nd try and I killed all of the adds two hits each on their side It shouldn't take long but you need patience. the only thing that was annoying to me was
ROM's AOE attacks
, just roll back when he rears up. also the meteors aren't an issue if you keep moving. I don't think I was hit once. just keep circling around him.

I decided to help people in
Vicar Amelia
fight and waited before boss door. Now since the host hasn't opened the doors to the Cathedral I got locked behind them lol.

So...I accidentally discovered a secret passage straight to the bridge where a guy is shooting at you, when you normally enter through the gate. The place I'm talking about is in unseen village after you go down the road, killing the skull tree thing and there are 3 madman's knowledge items waiting in front of you.

It was so bizarre. I usually run straight from the lamp to the elevator (bypassing the wheelchair blunder and the sword guy). But this time, the sword guy decided to join me in the elevator. and while we were fighting, I moved around and fell out of the elevator thereby discovering the new route lol. Thank you sword guy! Sadly he died.

RIP Sword guy. May your spirit guide other lost souls to the shortcut for eternity.

In the eyes of the Yharnam church, yes you are a god. The hunt is necessary because more and more humans begin to turn into beasts because of blood healing. Blood healing was /is used to heal illness, plagues and diseases. It is very effectiv but it also turns people into beasts. And as blood healing became more and mroe used more and more people began to transform, till they had to not only hire hunters but later train them and at the end even hire normal citizens to hunt down beasts. Till you arrive and every normal human is now a beasts (or 99%).

Gerhman was the first Hunter and was trapped in the dream by the Moon Presence. Most certainly there were hunters before you in the dream and most of them have a very similar story to tell. BUT in the end they were defeated or executed by Gerhman. I think by killing you he really wants to show you mercy as it is the only way (that he knows of) how to set you free from the dream and the mysterious play that the moon presence is playing.

But we also have a Bloodborne lore thread. You should check it out!

It's all starting to make a bit more sense now. I'll give the lore thread a check!

Typically near the boss door, but you can ring it anywhere in the zone and will be beckoned if you are in relatively close proximity of the beckoner.

I platinum this game. Loved every second.

Didn't play DS1 or DS2. briefly played demon souls.

________________

I used the original weapon saw cleaver from start to end.

Also didn't bother changing clothing.

Played all offline

Never used Beckoning Bell

Hardest bosses was, Bloodborne Father Gascoigne and the Blood Filled beast in the chalice dungeon.

loading times didnt bother me.

framerate was ok but noticeable at times.

world is amazing.

Time taken about 70 hours ?

my score 9.4

Please hurry with DLC - never ever ever ever have said that before !

Great, great job man. Making the platform go back up before you dropped down was brilliant.

Yeah I hate fighting small fries on my way to the boss so I make to leave the elevator up lol. Plus it's a little less downtime. No waiting for elevator to come up

Here's my Martyr L video at level 36 with a whopping 15 points of skill. Suck on my OP damage, Martyr! /s

Nice boss kill!

Oh snap! Yeah I've always waited right infront of that door. That's pretty funny

Reminds me of that hidden path on the elevator in the Oedon Church.

I got summoned right at the lamp pretty often. That's where most people wait and ring for helpers.

Typically near the boss door, but you can ring it anywhere in the zone and will be beckoned if you are in relatively close proximity of the beckoner.

Anywhere in the area where you want to help. I usually ring the bell at the area lamp and start moving towards boss areas.

Got it... Thanks!

There are a few of us that always co-op a lot and we help each other a lot...sad to say we also get unwelcomed A-Hole Invaders like last night. We got one last night that waved, didn't attack and even came up to us so we moved on.

However when she went up the ladder to take out a Witch and I was down looking in a corner, that A-Hole came up and just unloaded on me with my back turned. She thought I was behind her and went after the Witch and got blindsided by a "Bug" having to contend with two. I ran just to try and heal but right into a Brain Sucker, died, she died and now not even speaking to me.....thanks to MR. Di@kless A-Hole Idiot.....

From my experience 90% of co-op players will gank hard, so playing dirty is totally fine in my book. But yeah, that sounds bad. At least fight.

I was working my way through Cainhurst Castle after dying a few times at those spiders. Then I was up on a balcony outdoors around the statues and I followed a note that said, "take a step foward." It didn't end well.... It looked like there was a ledge below but I fell a long ass way to my death. I wish the names of players who left notes were left with the note and I also wish you could invade specific people. Lmao

lmao I know that ledge

Man fuck that zone with frenzy or whatever those invisible spears cause. How do you fight this?

1) Stock sedatives and use them.
2) Run from rock to rock and stay out of the light
3) It will attack enemies too / use that to your advantage

4) Personally, I just sprinted till I found the next area, killed some stuff, and unlocked a shortcut... then I went backwards to find any items (generally easier due to backstabs)

There's even a room with three!

I don't think I got three. Worst I got was two in the room right next to the lamp, with two giant werewolves inside. If I just stood at the lamp and opened up the menus to change attire, the spiders were on top of me in moments. Second worst for me was a room next to the lamp with a witch and two large fire breathing dogs, and a maiden in the next room. Spiders would pour into the room to harass me while I was dealing with the witch and her dogs. I had to pull them to the lamp so the spiders could miss me.

Well managed to not use vials before the boss lol. I usually go behind shortcut doors so that I can open them for the host if they haven't done it already.

Also tried DS2 today just to see how it compares and wow was it slow. I don't know if I can go back to those games again.

Worst setup in any of the Chalice dungeons for me right here.

Sword guy died so you could live. ;_;7 I'll make sure not to kill him on my future playthroughs.

Huh, sounds almost like that one convenant in Dark Souls 1 that could mess with your game in NG+. They could cause the NPCs to become more aggressive or something. If the host got mad enough, they could go invade the person terrorizing them. Think it was gravelord covenant

(Not really the same thing at all though)

Question about end game area and attaining final weapon upgrade
are there any repercussions with dropping that brain like I've seen in videos so that I can get the blood rock? I thought I read something that advised against it but I could be totally off. Thanks

Not that I know of.

Atleast I don't remember there being anything negative doing it. Actually doing it removes the constant frenzy build up in the lower area. Remember to go check that
brain
after you drop it. There is also hunter tool at the way to the blood rock.

Vaguely remember this. I'm trying to be as spoiler free as possible so I don't want to watch a tutorial but any advice on what you mean would be appreciated.

Are those the dogs with red eyes? I hate those fuckers.

Those along with the guy with long hair who moves super fast are the most annoying enemies in the dungeons, IMO.

I assume you mean how to check the
brain
. There should be new elevator in the area that has bunch of those dwarves and bigger versions of them.

Gents, stuck a little here.

ive done :

CB, FG, BSB, HW, VA, and SOY.

Whats a good route from here. I'm currently level 63. I did stumble across some big bastard beast with all
electro shit fizzing around
, and proceeded to get hammered due not reacting in time.

Suggestions appreciated.

Game still continues to give!

EDIT: Could do with 2 more Blood Rocks aswell.

Lately I have found some players trollig the game , specially at Grand Cathedral Boss, I were summoned just find the other cooperator were blocking the main gate , he did not let the summoner go in and just keep doing the "make contact" gesture, this ended on me and the troll being expulsed.

Later got called by other summoner at the same place , then he waited for a second cooperator, once it joined the 3 of us runned to the fog gate but the second cooperator did not crossed it, instead he just waited to see how we fight the boss and just seconds before we killed it he entered.

Sometimes I wish the game let you invade specific players so I could mes with them. Those trolls are annoying.
