You mean the 3 second shot of him sidling into frame? Come on, man.

Seriously, I just posted a quote of the costume designer of the film addressing the issue and he quickly brushes it off. "Looked stiff!" well, ok.

In addition to all this, getting rid of prep time is the same as getting rid of Supes' invincibility. Batman is the one of the greatest tacticians in comics.
He fucking out dueled Darkseid solo and
Supes is easy by comparison.

Beating Superman is easy because all he has to do is hold Lois in danger and beat Supes as he races off to find her.

Honestly, Batman is 3-0 against Superman if we're counting official canon.
He kicked his ass in the Dark Knight. I could've sworn I read an issue during the Hush storyline where Batman won again. Let's not forget the Tower of Babel ether that was so bad Supes voted to kick Batman out the league.
Batman has to wash Supes badly in this movie.

I'm talking Charlie Clips T-Rex washing. I'm talking Daylyt Aye Verb washing. I'm talking LA Lakers Kobe-Shaq dynasty washing. This needs to be a decisive victory for Bruce. Let Clark shine by having him save a drowning puppy at the beginning but once the blows start Supes shouldn't stand a chance against Mr. Prep Time.

You forgot that moment when Superman almost killed batman when he was controlled by Max Lord during that OMAC period.

ben affleck is so funny looking for a bruce wayne type character

his face just doesnt look right for bruce im so sorry lmaooo

Random stuff -

In Dark Knight he had help taking down Supes. What if Wonder Woman is one of those assets?

Someone mentioned a Riddler easter egg?

What's Batman doing in that shot with all the pillars? Holding something over a crypt? Someone said it was the crowbar Jason Todd was killed with (though that was the grainy version).

Looks like the Batwing shoots at some cars and blows them up with a guy shooting a machine gun in between. He's dead....right?

Not 100% that's Batman talking at the end. What if it's the real main villain's voice spliced over the footage?

Beside Frank Miller wankering of Batman and jobbing Superman. Batman has never beaten Superman in canon. Also Batman outdueling Darkseid is plot induced stupidity lol.
Obligatory.

If you want a detail breakdown of all their fights then Angry Joe already has it covered.

I'm 99% sure Wonder Woman is in this movie as a stand in for Green Arrow for the Batman/Superman fight in DKR.

And it's not a guarantee that's Batman speaking. It very well could be him, but it could easily be someone else like Metallo or something. We still know very little about this movie.

Ben Affleck is the most Bruce Wayne looking out of these actors that have portrayed him.

can't seriously tell me keaton looked better than ben affleck when you see batman tas bruce wayne.

Affleck looks fantastic as Bruce tbh

He has that smoldering look of inner genuine rage thing down pat. His build and dress sense are on point

and he has the best Batsuit ever put on film

dude is batman

Can't wait for Batman solo film, Directed by and starring Ben Affleck
written by Kevin Smith

The superman army thing is pretty believable. If a being as powerful as supes appears in real life then of course a bunch of fanboy fanatics will form an army supporting supes.

It happened in the dark knight returns, only those were batman's fanboys (sons of batman). Also at the beginning of the dark knight fanatics dressed up as the batman to fight scarecrow.

Superman clearly doesn't need the help of this vigilante army, and will most likely set them straight. Its most likely something set up by luthor to give supes some bad PR.

Also the rifle shoots out a rope, batman is not suddenly going to become a long range assasin lol.

The statue at the beginning is also real, no cgi involved, people are just looking for things to complain about. They built a humongous statue and there were even srlet photos of it.

Overall very impressed with this teaser, sets the tone nicely for whats to come.

I'm with you. The first impression is promising and I'm glad he accepted the role. Both he and Cavill are great fits for the characters, I just hope the writing does Superman more justice this time than on Man of Steel.

What I wanted once he was cast. He has his way at WB so they may leave him alone with a solo film.

If he pulls off Bruce I will gladly take back any negative things I said about him (mostly related to Goyer).

didn't he allegedly turn down directing man of steel because he didn't think he could be up to the task for a big cgi action film? i specifically remember that nolan went to him before snyder

crazy that he was still in the back of their head when it came to casting batman, but who knows if he'll agree to direct as well.

Dude, your Nightwing avy is great. *bro fist bump* DC needs to give Nightwing proper justice with a video game or movie but that's for another post.

Supes tried to kill Bats but couldn't because he doesn't have the heart for it. Batman would sacrifice Clark in a nanosecond if it meant saving lives. I'm siding with prep time Jesus any day of the week. All of Supes powers can be schemed around anyway. People are forgetting Bruce's known lack of fucks to hand out in times that shit gets real.

I believe he was considered but could have passed on the project. I think things may have changed with him accepting the role of Batman. They did boot Goyer and got his guy (Terrio) in there.

I can see him directing a solo film.

No, it doesn't. Here are the lines:

At no point is strength or powers tied to Earth's atmosphere or gravity. Rather it is tied to radiation or exposure to Kryptonian atmosphere.
Yes, it does. Here is the line.

...its atmosphere is more nourishing.

nourishing:promoting or sustaining life, growth, or strength: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/nourishing

And just so you don't think i'm cherry picking

nourishing:providing the things that are needed for health, growth, etc:http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/nourishing

nourishing:containing substances necessary for growth, health, and good condition.
https://www.google.com/search?q=nou...57.5315j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8

At this point, with the use of the word nourishing, strength and powers are tied to Earth's atmosphere in conjunction to radiation.

not going to go through pages to see if this was brought up but superman has either followers or an army, the soldiers kneeling to superman had his crest on the sleeves of their shirts

legit question: how does batman stand a chance against superman?

I think this should be in the OP of the OT when movie launches... just so... we don't get the question all the time.

But in comics usually a combination of

1)Supermanholding back
2)Batman cheating/taking shortcuts
3)Their fights never actually ending

Trailer in HD looks amazing. Its more obvious here that Batmans voice is altered from the suit. I suspect it'll be different when hes in his regular suit.

3)Their fights never actually ending

I think that question should be in the OP of EVERY BvS thread.
