I'm not sure why you'd post it if it wasn't demonstrative of your skills. That said, it wasn't impressive at all but I suppose it doesn't matter. Maybe this is a meta game. I'm there day one if you and vulva do throw down though!

It's a massive turn off for me. The only type of competitive games I enjoy are fighting games. I acknowledge that I suck, I just wish that trying to learn the game didn't seemingly come with a non-stop barrage of shit talk.

I mean I said up thread I'm buying the game. I'm just saying that I wish the community was more inclusive. I'd like to learn without so much of that stuff. I'm never going to be competitively good. I just want to play at a higher level. *shrug*

I played SF4 online the night it came out. I played as Ken because that's who I played SF2 with when I was young. I beat some dude and got a bunch of messages about what a scrub I was. That was my first sign that I wasn't really cut out for that.
 
I've lost track... which version of Guile is in this game? The one where Capcom tied one of his arms behind his back and fed him a turkey dinner or the one where he is supremely awesome like he's supposed to be? Or multiple versions?

When it comes out on ps4 we can play and I can try to give you pointers. Or even upload replays and I'll gladly see if I notice bad habits or areas for improvement .

But that's squarely dependent on the people. It's like that with anything in life with competition.

NeoGAF is pretty easy going with the shit talking, usually reserved for those who engage it. There are dedicated threads for assistance, and tons of people willing to help out without the snark. All you gotta do is ask.
 
Yeah this thread has reassured me to go back as soon as the game is available. I just hope I can buy one of those decent TE sticks before game launch.
 
I wonder if there's any chance of the PS4 version getting a proper photo mode, it's a gorgeous game on he older consoles so I think a full photo mode would be fantastic in this version.

Odd thing is, that announcement probably hurt old gen stick sales. I always wondered if that Korean stick that they spent so much time heavily discounting ended up like that because nobody was willing to waste cash on a stick that wouldn't work in a year.
 
I was waiting for them to finally give us some more details on this. I'm looking forward to picking this up since the only form I own Street Fighter IV in is Arcade Edition on the 360 from when it was given away for free.

I will temporarily be the number one Dan player on PS4 as long as my work schedule doesn't change for release day and Ixion doesn't own a PS4.

It's a pretty great price considering it comes with all the cosmetic DLC. For many people the convenience of sharing their matches via the Share button will be a massive perk, too. Especially considering how broken the YouTube functionality of the 360 version was.

Sharing fights was the main reason I wanted a PS4 version in the first place. I've since bought myself an Elgato HD60 card so I'd probably use that for all the lovely extra frames per second.

If I were playing online and someone was screaming hilarious rage at me through their mic, would the PS4's Share feature record that? I know it doesn't record any USB music I play so I figure it maybe filters it out?
