I'm glad to read all of the positive impressions for this. I loved the first game, very easy to pick up and play. I am really fighting the urge to impulse buy D:

I haven't really messed around with much, but there has to be one setting that is killing frame rates.
970, 2500k, 1440p.
High-preset nets 100+ FPS
Ultra-preset nets 40-60 FPS

I have a feeling it is real time reflections, but I haven't messed around with it much. I just did one match solo and even after knocking the res down to 1080p I still wasn't getting 60fps
done. one spot left!

Does this mean hand to hand combat, or is it what the creative director was talking about with the katana? If it is hand to hand I might end up playing something other than sharpshooter for this one, gunslinger also sounds like it might be interesting.

Felt that way, first two times. Third time seemed like it wasn't too bad. Beat him on Paris in normal for the fourth game. My main issue was getting used to scattering when he lobs grenades/nerve gas. After that it seems pretty straight forward.

Is it just me or does the boss throw more grenades now?
And outselling GTAV on Steam so they have that going for themselves too.
Also the fact that the top selling list is not by number of units, but revenue. And it's half of the price of GTAV, so it's selling more than double of GTA right now

It's definitely getting up there in age. So while I know I can run it currently, it will struggle some, and I prefer to really run it when I do check it out.
May seem silly, but I have patience, and do believe some things are worth the wait. This is a game I'd rather run it with all the bells and whistles than have to cut some corners just to get an acceptable frame rate. I also own all the consoles so I am at the point in my life if and when I am game on the PC, I prefer to do it right.

Awww man, I'm pretty sure my team nearly beat the boss.
I was medic-manning like a champ, but of course he somehow insta-wiped a couple players... which caused the whole team to fall like dominoes after that. haha
So close.
Good game though. A lot of fun. I cant wait till they add my favorite class back in, the sharpshooter.
