Okay. Thank you. That explains my confusion.
And now I am disappointed.
Don't be too disappointed, it's still a pretty phenomenal movie.

Questions about Ultron, he feels cut
Was he like a magical software protecting the gem? Part of the gem itself? What did Hydra had to do with him?
I LOVED the ending line.

That's what I got out of it as well. What I got out of it is that the Sceptre/data they recovered included an AI. But Ultron the program was something Tony was already working on but could not get to work. When he shows Banner the AI he immediately goes something like "This can be Ultron", and Banner makes a remark about how that was history.
My guess is that the idea/plans for Ultron were already designed by either Tony or someone else (Pym perhaps) and the AI they found in the data/sceptre made it possible for Tony to get Ultron up and running.
He doesn't. He gets on a Quinjet after throwing Ultron out and continues to fly away. The Quinjet ends up somewhere in the ocean but Fury and co can't track it because of Stark's stealth tech. He's MIA, but on earth. So does Hulk get shot into space?
So truly no Spiderman nod after the credits? Any chance this will change for the actual release? I had heard some pretty blatant hinting otherwise...

It's fake, no spiderman scene.
Yeah, thats weird. I know the fake is, well, fake, but I had heard some pretty heavy hinting from a very particular source (a mod can confirm that I'm not talking out of my ass).
The fact that theyre claiming theres no post-credit scene sort of solidifies it for me.
The biggest twist of the movie was that Hulkbuster won
To be fair the only reason it's able to win is by throwing spare parts at the fight until the Hulk gets worn downim not watching this movie if hulkbuster wins
Fixed.ugh that sounds stupid. according to some of the impressions this movie sounds like a flop
Not a flop at all, just a disappointment in some aspects like editing and it sounds like Ultron isn't enough of a threat to the Avengers. On the other hand, Thanos with the infinity gauntlet will be too much of a threat since he can just will people out of existence....ugh that sounds stupid. according to all the impressions this movie sounds like a flop

Why the hell are people using spoiler tags in a spoiler thread?
Anyway, I thought Vision looked ace.
Honestly for everyone who has seen it. Do you think DOFP having ( a better?) Quicksilver influenced them axing this Quicksilver?

I was pretty disappointed that they axed Quicksilver since he was easily one of my favorite parts of the movie and impressed me with how they did him. I hope that whenever the cosmic stuff starts inevitably resurrecting people, he'll be back.
Just saw Avengers 2: Age of Ultron,
First of I want to say that I really wanted to hold of writing this until I had watched it (at least) twice, but on the other hand....AVENGERSLETSGO, ITSMAHVELBABY!!!
So, right.
Age of Ultron starts of right away with an ensemble piece in the same vein as the battle of new york in the first avengers, meaning the camera is doing a "one take" of all the members cleaning house.
The difference however is that it looked like joss whedon watched The Winter Soldier and thought to himself: "...this looks like, just, the best.".
I was very much afraid that after how amazing winter soldier was shot, Avengers 2 would just feel like taking a few steps back again. Luckily I was wrong and, at least cinematography wise, this felt a lot like Cap's second outing.
At least for the first half, halfway through the second act I felt like the shots became tamer, or less "raw"; whatever that means.
What I did find a massive disappointment was Quicksilver; I had very high expectations for the character, especially after seeing how his Days of Future past version singlhandedly made me like that movie. Heck even the Flash tv show, yes a freaking tv show, shows us a more compelling speedster.
Quicksilver gets like 2 scenes of slomo, and both of them last for like 5 seconds, for everything else he's just literally a blue blur/streak.
Huge opportunity wasted there and might be one of the reasons I didn't find the second act onwards as strong as the start.
On the flipside, Scarlet witch was awesome, I really, really loved the horror motif she had going at the start, and how she was actually "hexing" her opponents, we also get a nice glimpse at her full power near the end and I'm glad she's going to be a heavy hitter like she should be.
Ultron was the highlight though, James Spader did an amazing job with the voice and personality; he's funny, witty, a tad "stark", and very much the insane robot we know from the comics. The change in origin didn't matter to me that much, if at all really.
Though this character was another point of slight disappointment, in the comics he's mostly always a huge threat, now his threat is simply not because he's a scary mfucker, but because of his endgame. He doesn't get enough time to just straight up beat the crap out of our heroes, instead he goes to be a good little villain and work on his doomsday device....*sigh*.
Overall though, great character, but could've been executed better.
Rest of the cast on point as always, Hawkeye gets a bit of spotlight and Hulk gets some great character development.
Speaking of Hulk, his fight scene was easily the most exciting.
Visually and score wise everything looked and sounded fine, great even (except for disappointing ass quicksilver), though there were no really visually powerful scenes for me like that final scene in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Though don't get my comparisons with Winter Soldier as meaning that this feels like a very serious film, Whedon has injected a lot of his signature humour.
There is one scene in particular where all the avengers try to lift Thor's hammer, and his reaction to Cap's attempt was hilarious.
Also Ultron is one funny ass dude.
Overall I liked it a lot, maybe not as much as Winter Soldier or Man of fucking Steel, but enough to rewatch it very soon.
There is no second stinger after the credits, so you can leave after seeing the first (OHSHITSGETTINGREAL) one.
Definitely give this a watch, and absolutely do so in IMAX ;D.
I was worried for a while that he was going to off Hawkeye too because they sure as hell were setting up for it. Even though I know he's in Civil War.Nah, Whedon just finally got to kill someone. He's been waiting for it a for a while now.
Here's to hoping this is the last of Avengers movies with endless cronies to fight the team. I want to see Thanos single handedly kill nearly everyone, until some time altering loophole resets the clock.

Not major spoilers but figured i'd ask here but avoiding spoilers myself.
1. Any soundtrack snipits from Avengers 1 or solo movies?
2. Does Cap fight more TWS style?
how was cap in this movie? did he whoop some ass or was he a let down
Does Wanda get a "proper" costume at the end?
He's a proper leader this time and I thought his fights were the best.
Yes, and it's really good.
i hope i manage to see a picture of this before i get to the theater. someone please take a picture.
