Feel bad for all you guys getting that spoiler, sucks when things like this happen.
I tried so hard to not be spoiled.
I'm pretty critical of excessive spoiler phobia. But that, yikes.Feel bad for all you guys getting that spoiler, sucks when things like this happen.
Protip to not getting spoilered: don't even go into the non-spoilered threads
Y'all have internetted long enough to know stuff like this happens. Just watch the movie before clicking any OT if you are spoiler-averse.
Uh how about no. I would like to be able to discuss an upcoming movie without getting spoilers thrown in my face.
You guys are overreacting lol.
Its only a movie based on a comic book lol
I find spoiler culture just hilarious

Hey bud, this ain't the spoiler thread.
The answer to my question is not what the umbrage is about. You should have asked your question in the spoiler thread. That is what it is there for. That was bound to happen when people keep asking about things in the movie.

The spoiler in question was an unsolicited opinion onYou can do whatever you want, I'm just saying there will always be the possibility of spoilers getting loose especially when 1.) the movie is out 2.) people keep asking for spoilers and impressions from people who've seen the movie 3.) both the non-spoiler thread and spoiler thread are on the same OT page. If you are sensitive to a spoiler like "these dudes do this" without any context to what lead to the action or what happens after then just avoid these threads.
The spoiler in question was an unsolicited opinion ona major character death.
Nothing to do with "dudes do this."

i think their will be alot of criticism for this movie...the cast still seems to be too white...heck besides fury, not many PoC...
im so hyped for this movie...just got my tickets for my dad and I

Yeah, so? What does it being a comic book movie have to do with the fact that people don't want the ending spoiled for them? Its only a movie based on a comic book lol

I've already read people on Twitter saying we shouldn't praise Joss for this film and his "white feminism". There's already a buttload of complaints about how white it is, plus very little PoC and female representation.
edit: thanks to the mod who cleared up the spoilers on the last page. Can we move on now?
No one will criticise this movie for lacking people of different colour or culture, I'll tell you this now.
yeah....its bound to happen..
Easy for you to say since you've watched it already. And apparently you cared enough to spoiler mark your own impressions too, so there must be some empathy down inside you that understands why people dislike getting spoiled.
I don't mind spoilers, hell I actively seek them out for The Walking Dead, but you seriously don't understand why people don't like getting spoiled? No, i did it because people dislike getting spoiled, not because i necessarily understand why.
Good video although I have never been in a theatre when any more than a few people (usually parents and children) have left before the mid/end of credits scene.
Damn. Film was really good! Great characters, fun action and neat surprises. Ultron was a little bit of a letdown, but I still enjoyed his scenes. Hawkeye was great, the character development we've all been waiting for.
As for spotty CGI talk that's going around, it isn't really that noticeable... At least, not for me.
Did you do 3D? I wouldn't say it was hugely noticeable but you could tell there was a bit of a difference from the opening sequence and rest of the film.
2D. Screen was pretty big, which may have made me not notice the dodgy CGI. Thor did seem a little floaty in the opening sequence and Hulk was a little off, but that's all I noticed really.Did you do 3D? As in the opening looks better than the rest of the movie, or other way around?

I'm sure Ultron will be fine when I watch him, but man was I hoping Whedon would've just stop STOP with the fucking jokes.
Ultron was the one character who didn't need it. He should've been outright vicious and terrifying.
Cap throwing the bike was a little off because of the physics, but it was still awesome. I had such a big stupid grin throughout so many scenes.Other way around. It's not exactly "omg this is terrible" but you could tell.
I thought the same about Hulk at the start and where Cap throws his motorcycle. Hulk was fine for the rest though, weird.
I believe people now think of "any CGI you know is CGI at any time" as "bad CGI".
Or if you notice a CGI then its bad. Its like acting, you won't notice it when its pulled off very well.
By that logic 99% of special effects, including practical effects, are bad.
