Hmm earlier in the year I was telling someone on this board the Raps ain't shit when they started hot..

Oh come on, you were predicting a playoff series at the beginning of the season?

You would have said the same thing whether they were winning or not.

Obviously Kawhi has been awesome tonight all over, but really can't say enough about his defense. It won't show up in the box score, but in the last 2 or 3 minutes he blew up 3 separate offensive sets purely with his disruption. That is so incredibly rare for a perimeter player to have that sort of effect.

Was Kawhi playing like this the entire season? Like popping up turnaroud/fade aways J's like MJ? or he just decided to showcase the new arsenal this post season? Dude is a max easily.

He hit his stride post all-star break after he got back from some nagging injuries. Not coincidentally that's when the Spurs got rolling.

I don't think there's any question he'll get the max. Couple great two way wings hitting restricted free agency this summer in he and Butler, but I don't think either of them see the market.

I don't think I've seen any single player get blocked more in my life than Big Baby.

Woah Van Gundy with the reality check. Clippers have 49 points after 3 quarters. Rockets had 42 after 1 quarter

Hah. I think the Clippers are a much tougher matchup for the Spurs; their athletic frontline and shooting has given the Spurs trouble. I don't see them having that much trouble with the Rockets; they're also not disciplined enough defensively and the Spurs happen to have the best wing defender in the league against a team that is totally reliant on a wing scorer.
