Alternate ending is interesting.
Wonder what it could be?
Caps gonna finish that sentence he started.

Tony had a bunch of stock AI programs he'd developed through time. He replaced Jarvis with another one called Friday after Jarvis' program is uploaded to Vision. It's a short segment when they suit up but you can see Tony inject a computer chip labeled "Friday" into a mainframe.

'AVENGERS, ASS-' *Tony runs in and punches Cap in the face*

And now the waiting starts T_T
I'm personally hoping it ends with some animosity between Cap and Tony. Something to show that while they were willing to put aside their differences to defeat Ultron, they still aren't anywhere near close to being on the same page and actually further apart than ever ideologically.
Something, anything, to help set up what's coming in Civil War.
I filled in that much thank you... but why that one in particular?! Reminded me of Margaret Schroder from Boardwalk.
Not going to lie but Black Widow's scene with Bruce where she talks about being a monster, along with that flashback, made me pretty tearful. I really love her character.
Their relationship was a lot more convincing than I was expecting. I really want a Black Widow solo film now.
Me too. There's so much they could explore with her past, as we saw it in Agent Carter. And Scarlet have long proved that she can carry her own action movie.Their relationship was a lot more convincing than I was expecting. I really want a Black Widow solo film now.
It was really frustrating. It's weird too, because I like the ending as it stands. It's just bizarre they didn't take the opportunity, because now for at least some of Civil War you have to build that tension.
The Vision holding Mjolnir got a few quiet gasps from the audience when I went to see it.

Our entire audience laughed out loud at that part and actually went into applause.
I literally went, and actually heard someone else loudly go "OH SHIT!"
I'm in the UK too so I didn't expect much in the way of audible responses. After all is said and done I honestly think the vision was my favourite aspect of the movie. There was a lot of laughter at that in my screening. Unusual for a UK audience as they tend to be pretty quiet usually.
I think people are forgetting that they don't have to start out Civil War with Iron Man and Cap at each other's throats. Their relationship may fall apart during the first act when all the Registration Act comes up that Iron Man supports.
Couldn't Vision and Scarlet Witch wreck everyone? Cap's team winsYeah, if we weren't getting Civil War, the ending would be perfectly acceptable. 'End' of the old squad, new blood coming in but we know the old will merge with the new to face the mad titan in IW.
Civil War just makes the end of AoU feel awkward. They even have a moment where they fight but it's not built upon. I just hope that's not the strand they decide to use to build up Civil War, there needs to be a lot more than a quick scrap...

^ Mysterious figure in a hood during Thor's vision. I don't think it was revealed who was beneath the hood in the theatrical cut.

Guessing it was whoever this was supposed to be.

I said it a while ago, but I reckon this might end up being Death.

I liked Wakanda being a more modernized African country, rather than the weird blend of stereotype native and over the top Scifi that the comics present the country as.
Panther should be the President instead of King for his movie, or son of the President....with his dad being more of a Nelson Mandela hope type figure fighting against the West/Hydra from exploiting their Vibranium reserves, like South Africa has historically done with their natural resources.
I trust Marvel not to fuck up their representation of the fictional Nation or be patronising to Africans, and Age of Ultron got me very excited about that.
Oooooh interesting theory
Only not I didn't like was Thors vision pool, it just smashed the pacing into a wall ha ha.

Nobody have seen Wakanda though.I liked Wakanda being a more modernized African country, rather than the weird blend of stereotype native and over the top Scifi that the comics present the country as.

It didn't feel like there were much tension. I certainly feel, that the final battle in The Avengers were better than the one in Age of Ultron. So does this movie have a legit final battle between the Avengers and Ultron? If so is it awesome and is there any fucking tension or stakes at all? The first one, while I liked it, was just... I don't know, despite the team being there I never feel any danger or awesome, climactic standoffs between heroes and villains. I want to see some actual raw shit especially in sequels.

They have to kill endless weak robots and ultron himself doesn't do anything beyond stupid oneliners. There is no payoff or good final battle. The only fun battle is in the middle of the movie between hulk and ironman. Also ultron is the most dumb "superior" AI villain ever on film. He was dumb and dull as bricks.
Great, only flaw of the film for me.Looks like it was heavily edited for the final run time. Extended edition should fix it

Wait till Tony builds a Thorbuster suitAlso, tony stark is apparently capable of making machines that can fight on the level of the hulk now. So that's a thing. The rest of the non-asgardian/non-vision avengers might as well have retired. (And, uh, not the other way around...)
