he almost has to cameo as batman at least at some point to be the sort of ultimate threat in the movie. i doubt hell have any major role thought, maybe just a few cameos throughout the film to remind you that batman is out there during all of the chaos of the suicide squad .

Establish and introduce an entire array of villains for future films in one movie, and if there's a breakout, have a reason why Batman is back in action during BvS

Yeah. How can you have a movie with multiple characters in it without at least giving each of them an individual origin film?

That's why Guardians of the Galaxy bombed harder than any Marvel movie before it, and the Magnificent Seven is forever remembered as the worst movie of all time.
