This is a common complaint amongst JP fans of all of Sakamotos stuff. It has merit but whatever.

We've got a on-set pic of Type Tridoron (minus the head), cool to have a Final Form with the same color as the original. Looks pretty good, and seems he can still use single Tires which is nice as maybe we'll finally see the unused Tire Changes.

I guess it's kind of skeevy when Amy's actress was 16 at the time of filming.
At least criticize the aspects that are there. Don't make stuff up.

Are all those things in the original novel? Can't fault Sakamoto if that's the case.
 
According to the same 2ch user who leaked the info about Gaim's lockseeds and Drive's Shiftcars, it seems like the next rider will be fashion-themed.

I honestly thought things couldn't be weirder theme-wise after Gaim, but here we are.

EDIT: An additional rumor is that Kazuhiro Takahashi (who was a producer on Fourze) will be the producer for this show.

Also this week's ninnin was great. I could just watch a 30 min show of shinobimaru and rodeomaru jumping around beating up monsters.
 
Finished Kamen Rider W which is the 3rd Kamen Rider Series I've finished this year(OOO & Fourze were the other 2.) OOO has been my favorite so far, then it's a bit of a toss up between the other 2, movin' on to Kiva next.
 
I remember there was a pre-Drive rumor about a fashion Kamen Rider...

Reason I bring that up is I recall the suggestion in that for gimmick items being Yo-Yo's to simulate threads and such which would be cool.

EDIT: The rumor also says apparently we might actually see the new Rider in the Summer Movie again after Wizard/Gaim skipped that...hope so, I loved when they did that.

Seriously, what panty shots? You should ask those fans what they they think of old sentai like Zyuranger, Dairanger,Kakuranger and Ohranger.etc where panty shots,sexual harassments and swimsuits bikinis are blatant. Modern Sentai and Kamen Rider is playing really safe from anything sexual.

The only thing sexual is shirtless Daigo.

I felt like they covered her up pretty good in that movie with the stuff they had her wear. There's just one shot at the end though where it's blatant.

Sakamoto puts a lot of legs in his stuff though, that's noticeable. But it's not like the pantyshots in older stuff.
 
Now, those rumors are usually wrong. But if it's fashion based and there is a female Rider, please, don't put her on high heels. Thanks, Toei.

At this point, I've seen enough to know execution is everything.

Gaim was fruit! FRUIT WITH A SLICING BELT! Still awesome. Fourze, I honestly didn't care about the themes, suit, or gimmick, but I loved the cast.

This would be the perfect chance to include a female rider (or at least include two main riders, boy and girl, from the start).

I mean, Rider has always been exclusively a show that skewed towards young boys, so it'd be interesting if they tapped into another demographic this time around (young girls).

I don't think a female main rider is going to happen, fashion doesn't make it more likely, it isn't really something that screams female to me especially in Japan, most modern riders have their specific fashinable looks and their clothes are sold online.
Wizard almost had a jewelry subtheme with the big honking rings, the main riders were still both male.

Kamen Rider is dominated by male heroes, I would like a female getting equal focus but that could hurt the toyline. Sentai can do females more easily because they use the same roleplay toys like the men, a female main rider would most likely have exclusive equipment and I can't see Bandai being okay with that. Like it or not but the toylines are male oriented.
 
Finally watched the Kabuto movie. Amazing movie, the ending was really great.

It's amazing how a movie with a lot of things that make no sense, from a series that is making less and less sense at each episode, made everything clearer at the end.

I really love how it ties everything up with a neat little bow and literally brings logic and order to a chaotic plot.
 
Yeah, stuff like this are important to the show itself. I was kinda expecting it to be more of a bonus episode or something, but why are they so insistent on adding important stuff outside of the show itself. :/

I suppose this is something Toei is experimenting with to add value to BD sales, but the core show was really hurt by it, imo. Chase's story arc would've been a much easier pill to swallow if all this stuff was going on alongside it, I mean, they even decided to leave
Otta and Kyu's motivations for working with the special division
to disc extras that not everybody can watch. It's like Begins Night in W but worse because it's not just limited to an origin story but several character arcs and plot threads that are important to the series. I'm fully expecting
the Anima System
to end up being mentioned out of the blue in a few weeks too.

Yep. Would be much better if we didn't have that revelation a few weeks ago.

While I appreciate what they are trying to do, the show would be much better if this and Episode Zero were true episodes.
