Remember kids, you can cheat and get caught, just as long as the system that lays down punishment takes months to do so.

By then, it'll just be superfluous bullshit.

It's funny that if they don't reduce it Brady's first game back is the Colts.

Oh the beat down he's going to put on poor Andy Luck.

So begins the reign of Handsome Jimmy G. Not like this Brady...

The Patriots are going down in history as one of the most tainted teams ever.

Between Spygate and Deflategate...

Not to mention the bogus "tuck" rule created FOR them and the "sneak-eligible receiver" stuff...

SMH

What does it matter when, at the end of the day, the wins count? It proves, by NFL standards, that cheaters prosper.

Brady is getting the same, if not more games suspended than players who beat their wives. This league is a fucking joke. Haven't watched in 3 years, don't plan on coming back either until they can clean up their image.

The media here in NOLA is going to eat this up.

Regardless of what I think of the punishments handed down to Brady and the Pats I think Goodell deserves to get a lot of flack over how all of this has been handled. It's a shame he probably won't have Kraft back him up this time.

See, at least you get it. They say things like "this is all about integrity!!!" then will fail to go after anyone else in the matter, even though some have public comments admitting to it.

But hey, I don't really expect the league to follow it up, it's evident they have and will continue to just make things up as they go along

Aaron Rodgers statements were that before the balls are inspected, they may overinflate them and hope the ref lets them through. Once inspected, nobody is supposed to touch the balls. It's on the refs if they let the balls slip through out of spec.

1. Tuck rule was around before the Oakland game, In fact, it was called AGAINST them in the regular season that year. Dunno why people think it was created then and there. But I guess you're fed enough misinformation that you want to believe it can seem like fact. Like spygate!

2. Sneak eligible recievers were legal are people still crying about this? Are you a Ravens fan? It's straight up deception I agree, but that's what all trick plays are. "Omg it looked like the QB handed the ball to the RB but he didn't! He threw it instead wtf cheats!"

Meaning if the balls got through he knowingly was using balls out of the specified rules, and therefore knowingly is "cheating"...

For the record, I DON'T think Rodgers should be punished, more just making fun of how silly the league is in general with who they go after, and the punishments they seem to grab out of a hat.

i can already imagine the yelling and crying drowning in chowdah
I usually only listen to WEEI the day after the red so get knocked out the play offs, or those two times the NY Giants beat them in the superbowl.

I think the best listen was when the Giants stopped them from having the perfect season.

I haven't checked myself but according to Twitter the Pats are still a 1 point favorite against the Steelers in week1.

And the Donald ways in:

"They had no definitive proof against Tom Brady or #patriots. If Hillary doesn't have to produce Emails, why should Tom? Very unfair!" - @realDonaldTrump

Makes you think...
no it doesn't.

Trump for president.

He won't let these fake charges against Tom Terrific stand.

This doesn't really seem like something that was worth a suspension or such a huge fine. They beat the colts by thirty eight damn points. The ball didn't have a whole lot to do with that...

And teams get away with holding and other penalties all the time and don't tell the officials they missed something. At a certain point, you just put it in the refs hands.

Came to post this. Just a slap on the wrist.

They should take away one of their Super Bowl "wins".

Why?

Deflated balls didn't help them win the superbowl. Or the colts game.

The superbowls before were legit because what they got in trouble for during "spygate" was legal prior to 2006
