Fuck the Saints.

If you want a true insight into how entitled and delusional the Pats fans here are - enjoy the bolded.

Every fan base has some bad ones and ofc they're going to be on the internet spewing a bunch of retarded bullshit. It isn't really fair to say that all Pats fans are like that.

We punish real patriots and kill four of their games but kill four Americans and there's no punishment and you can still run for president #Benghazi

Twitter is a goldmine right now.

"Brady doesn’t answer questions about deflating balls: 4 game suspension

Obama refuses to answer questions about Benghazi: 0 game suspension"

NFL with egg on their face. Taking this completely minor infraction as their hill to die on. I hope Daddy Kraft finally parts ways with Goodell and gets rid of that loser once and for all. Fining the team goes against their own report. That's what happens when you are winners, people come out of the wood work trying to explain the awesomeness on display and have to resort to conspiracy when the fact is the Patriot way is just better than everyone else's way. Pats losing a 1st round draft pick is something we lose every year so don't give two shits about that.

Is this real life?

That Bountygate isn't the most fined NFL offense is a fucking travesty.

Totally agree. This is cheating, but that was vile beyond belief.

Why? I would think salary-cap violations have a bigger impact than the inflation level of the footballs.
Because even if they do cheat the salary cap, they have to play on a level playing field with the other teams while actually playing the game. Them making more money then they should doesn't really effect the actual game in any way, doesn't make the players play any better, and doesn't put the other team at a disadvantage during the game. One could argue that the salary cap is arbitrary and unnecessary in the first place considering that other sports don't have it. They still have to play with the same amount of players, they just got paid more.

what other little things do teams do that are considered "cheating".

I understand it, cheating is cheating...and when you choose to do so, you should be held accountable.

but where do they draw the line?

It's not just Pats fans, it's all Football fans - have you never looked at the espn comment section?

That's the one that scares me - it is facebook linked too.

Hence why I tried to say it was at least some of the folks posting here.

So being able to spend more money on players than other teams doesn't give you a competitive advantage?

Is this real life?

Of course it is. The NFL botched this entire thing from the beginning. The whole report speaks to how incompetent the NFL is which is nothing new. Lets set up a sting against the Pats but lets forget to actually record the pre game pressures. Lets act all mad at Brady not turning in his phone when executives did not do that for Ray Rice and act all mad about it. Patriots are better off not having any first round picks as they most likely will be waste of money as that is Bill's biggest weakness.

This makes me happy. I don't think they were ever going to asterisk or take away wins or Super Bowl victories. That seems like an NCAA thing to do. I don't know if there is any precedent for doing that on the professional level.

But I like the Brady and the team is being punished, especially the four game suspension and the first round draft pick. Maybe this dissuades them and other teams from attempting to cheat. I hope so.

Oh, i got you.

How do you guys feel about Brady as a person? Leaves his first wife, cheats at his job, idk guys he seems sort of like a piece of shit

No? You're assuming that spending more money will automatically equate to quality play on the field. They could theoretically go over the salary cap and still be shit. Look at baseball, the team that spends the most money doesn't automatically dominate every year. That's why I said that you could argue that it's arbitrary and unnecessary in the first place.

Yep every sports team in the world has it's crazies.
