Correct me if I am wrong but it is legal to film the opponents signals, it only became illegal to do so from the sideline from 2007 onwards and the Patriots were only punished for the position from which they filmed and not the filming itself.

My favorite thing about this was Eli weighing in. He's been throwing around deflated balls and said there is definitely an advantage.
Many folks here won't accept that, like the argument thrown around that the tuck rule is an example of the Patriots cheating.

Why label every fan the same? I am a Pats fan (from England so only watch on TV). But I don't accept cheating.
If you're found to be cheating in college football you vacate wins and I see no reason why it shouldn't be the same in the NFL. Regardless of team if you cheat to get ahead you shouldn't be allowed to keep the results of your cheating after investigation proves your misdeeds.
