i just really dislike the exposed business suit look vs the rolled up sleeves shirt + tactical strap look

there's also more color contrast in her dmc3 outfit due to the reddish boots and black/plaid miniskirt + shorts vs. the more uniform color of white/black/brown for her dmc4 one

I'd probably point out that fanservice for a girl =/= fanservice for a guy. that Lucifer cutscene in DMC4 is fanservice-y as fuck, IMHO

You should check out the Dante x Nero fanservice. Shit does exist.

Just like with Dante in DMC3... so much headache would've been avoided if Lady just wore a damn shirt underneath. Even DMC4 Dante had the sense to do that in DMC4.

I like all those designs, including the one we got. I understand peoples' reservations about the no-shirt, but I overall think it's a good design.

Well she's grown and changed pretty significantly from DMC3. she's not an angry young girl, rough around the edges, chasing daddy for revenge. She's mellowed out, some of Dante has rubbed off on her, and she runs a successful devil hunting business.

Within that context I think it totally works.

the exposed chest + strap is like super evocative of dmc3 dante's outfit on purpose i think

but i personally think it looks super silly on a female and was reminded of this by seeing some weird cosplay pinup photos being sold w/ the same concept

it looks even weirder on that costume because it doesn't actually tie into any holsters or gear like dante's/her dmc3 outfit's does

So here's the DMC 4:SE PS4 theme. The two primary images with the theme playing in the background. I think Idol of Space and Time is a good choice.

The click sound effects are the same sound effects used in every DMC game so you know what those are.

Idol of Space and Time was my favourite track off DMC4, such an emotional rollercoaster everytime i was hearing this. I remember pausing the game on purpose for that reason.. Glad they chose this.

i'm playing the girls first too. they're just too unique.

fuck, i gotta boot up the PC version and actually learn Dante. That's something I never did. Always used Nero in Bloody Palace and shied away from Dante because he's like 4 action game characters in one.

Definitely looking forward to playing as Lady now. Vergil is definitely the most fleshed out of the new characters but I can see some potential for stylish play with her already.

A bit disappointed to receive confirmation that we only get one costume for each character though, was holding out hope for DMC1 Dante. But still, looks like an amazing package especially for the price. Nothing to do now but wait.

I wonder if she can charge her guns during her O special moves. Seems like that's entire point of the character and the stationary nature of those moves make it obvious that you should be charging during those animations. They nailed the feel of the moves though, Lady's gun moves don't feel like the pea shooters that Dante is carrying.

Also Vergil all day for me. Will be using for all the bull shit achievements. Spiral Swords and Concentration meter mean easy crate opening due to big hitboxes.
