I still think the Vergil model looks fine, they had to make him look "different" enough from DMC4 Vergil because he is younger. I guess he needed more belts kappa?

You know, if they do go with Papa Vergil canon and not some weird clone/DNA shenanigans, I'm really curious how they will portray that. I just can't imagine OG Vergil being with anybody, whether for legitimate love or just pleasure.

I don't think DNA shenanigans is in Vergil's character at all. He's more of a traditional guy and cloning is more "modern" (seeing he doesn't use guns and dresses more like his father).

So, I've been thinking. Do you guys think that they could have reused the animation for Kasuga's spinning bird kick move from Sengoku Basara, either 3 or 4? Because the animation is exactly the same. Since Itsuno said they only had the budget to add Vergil, they couldn't have afforded to do mocap or much in the way of animating for Lady's and Trish's new moves.
Hm, is it supposed to show the bonus costumes as purchased if you already preordered the game? Mine still says bundle only.
In fact the bundle isn't showing up as purchased at all. I might have to reach out to xbox customer service.

Honestly that looks like it might just be a battle intro to mission 20 while Vergil is wearing an alternate costume. Not too sure that's story related, especially since there's no source.

That won't confirm anything though. They've shown that Vergil has his own little two second scene before bosses on the stream and in videos thus far. Those won't be in the vanilla game, where there are full fledged cutscenes.
That background is 100% mission 20 though.

Well it mentions both campaigns but says Vergil is the one with intro and ending, also a supposed intro screenshot of Lady with a slice of pizza looks more like a gameplay sequence than a cutscene,
But its good then.

Probably isn't, I doubt they'd spoil the ending in a trailer. Plus we got a screen grab from Fortuna at night so that's where/when Vergil's cutscene will probably take place.

Looked like an in-game camera pan that happens when you meet the bosses. Could be the credit scene fight? Wouldn't make much sense to have Vergil protect Kyrie.

Is it just me or does it almost look like she's got some sort of almost Bloodborne-esque gun-parry thing going on that the player was unintentionally triggering a few times?
Definitely wanna see more of her shotgun/handgun gameplay but the player was clearly having the most fun messing around with the Kalina Ann, haha.

I'm honestly surprised that Lady doesn't seem to have a ricochet move, given that both DMC3 and DmC have one. I suppose Hysteric is what they want to keep as her only sort of multi-target *and* semi-homing attack.
You are not entirely wrong.
If you see that section in the trailer then you will realize that in that sequence there are Scarecrows in that area. That's not what happens in the actual Mission#20 area with Nero, it's just a boss fight with Sanctus.
It could be a part of the ending cutscene for Vergil it could be a re-designed Mission#20. Either way it's something that warrants discussion and I was surprised that no one really picked up on it sooner.
And if it's indeed the ending cutscene, I don't think the LDK costume has anything to do with it because costumes change appearance during cutscenes as well.
I don't think it's actually a cutscene though because the quality of it makes it look like an in-game camera swoop around.
No the guns just have a really, really short charge time for lvl1, like you hold the button down for a micro second and get the charge shot out. It's very easy to accidentally do a charge shot.
If they do this, they should just go full Sin & Punishment with it.

Looked at the Steam pages. Why does SE require 27GB compared to the original 8GB? Don't tell me they turned the cutscenes to videos.

Most likely uncompressed textures, audio, etc, the original PC version was likely based on the 360 version, which is why it was only 8 GB, but IIRC the PS3 version was significantly bigger (which is something very common on the PS3)
It depends what shipping you choose. EMS should take a matter of days (a week at most). SAL can take up to a few weeks.
As for pre-order codes, I think most of us are assuming they'll be region locked like most DLC. So you'd need a Japanese account to redeem them.
Yeah, I was really hoping they'd give her Spiral, so that she'd be able to rep every firearm from DMC3 (sans Artemis). Giving her Free Ride and etc. would've been even better.
But ah, well. For her and Trish to be made in such conditions, and to give us a taste for what may be in store next time? They're still very nice.
