I'm still surprised that we haven't had any leaks besides gears of war remaster. Looks like everyone is keeping their cards close to their chest this time around....damnit..

Will Sony have a replacement for the holiday season now that Uncharted and Ratchet are delayed?

Nothing that is not yet announced. Maybe some smaller titles but no real blockbuster. Maybe No Mans Sky makes it this year.

What will the big show closers be?

MS with some new IP, Sony with TLG, UBI with Watch_Dogs 2, Bethesda with some "DOOM Beta out NOW", Square-Enix with nothing, EA with a ME4 teaser

Will Microsoft have another 3rd Party AAA moneyhat?

In terms of being exclusive? No. Marketing-wise I can see them having Fallout 4.

What will Ubisoft's bullshit fake demo be this year?

Watch_Dogs 2

Will TLG show up this year?

Yes

Anything cool at the 3rd party shows?

Fallout 4! Damn! PC-Show will spawn some nice announcements. Hoping for Mafia 3 as well on either the Sony or MS presser

Nintendo?

No Idea

Other random nonsense.

Something something VR and Valve

That's a good thing. It gets boring when things get leaked early.

Anyway everyone always knows things get leaked a day or two before as some nitwit puts up a press release too early.

I'm not gonna lie, I think Shuhei saved the last guardian in case they had no new games to show at E3 lol, which is probably going to be the case. They might have the new horizon game, but that's basically it from the rumor mill. All the other anticipated titles from the big developers were already announced.

Level 5 JRPG
Studio Bend new IP
MM new IP
Gravity Rush 2 reveal.

They can still hold off on TLG if they really want to.

In Scalebound I hope the Dragon boss battles, are big scaled like Shadow of Colossus. I wonder how the multiplayer is going to be. I'm drooling to see gameplay

Hyped for 90 minutes of Powers season 2. No games now only Powers.

I still think that was a last minute thing as something else was not ready for E3, it just felt so disjointed.

Sony Cambridge and Quantic Dream have both also been cooking up something for almost two years now.

I'm sure we will see what QD is up to this year, probably at the Paris Event. Cambridge? I think they need a bit more time if they really work on a full console Killzone.

It's not holding off so much as "has the game been made yet?"

The game would have been cancelled with no skin off of Sony's back. Cancelling games isn't really that big of a deal, it happens, people forget about it and move on. Remember Megaman Legends 3? Cancelled and of course Capcom got flak for it, but they are still standing today with a promising title, SFV.

The game probably got re-engineered for PS4 after Fumito pretty much achieved his vision of the game. Just working out quirks right now and making it as perfect of an experience as they can. Majority of the group from SCEJ that worked on it are contracted instead of employed to just check the games progress. After that, pretty much all of them are going independent and working on their own stuff. It definitely exist and there is a build, but who knows when they'll announce it.

Anyone saying TLG will be re-introduced with a new trailer is mad.

If Sony show off this game after such a long absence, they cannot just show another trailer and be done with it. It needs to be gameplay, they need to show something substantial that shows that the game is real (and maybe why it took so long).

I get the feeling we'll be seeing Cambridge's next game sooner than a lot think.

If they are indeed working on a console Killzone, they might be able to churn it out fairly quickly given their experience with the franchise and their likely access to Guerrilla's engine (they are sister studios).

Just what I think :)

On the topic of the European Sony studios, I don't expect any of them to announce something at E3 except Guerrilla with Horizon.

Let's not get crazy, substantial evidence that that game isn't cancelled will be more than enough for people.

What I'm saying is, they showed us a trailer 6 years ago. Another trailer wouldn't really be saying anymore than we already know? We could be waiting another 6 years after that trailer.

I don't think the game's showing up anyway. I just think when they do re-introduce it, it'll be more substantial than a trailer.

Obviously it's not canceled.

But if it;s not done being worked on, then it won't come out yet.

Sony can't say "Oops we're missing a big game this quarter, let's just will a AAA game into existence." And i'm sure we don't want them to rush it out either.

A insider said that Sony will bring many hats to E3. I think some people are underestimating the sales lead Sony has and they could get exclusives more easier. It was already said more Japanese games will shown in the Sony press conference. I simply think Sony is in a much better position to take exclusives games than Microsoft. Just my opinion.

love you guys

That was awsome!

I think he was just talking about Sony's many 3rd party marketing deals.

Or Street Fighter V is just the beginning. I wouldn't be shocked if we see another Capcom moneyhat, a Sega moneyhat or even a Konami moneyhat. Alot of these Japanese publishers are cautious with money and I don't think they would mind a Sony moneyhat expecially because if the huge sales lead with the PS4 as well as PS4 being more popular in Japan and Europe.

Obviously a huge IP like Resident Evil this is less likely. But an IP where a developer isn't confident with huge sales could potentially get moneyhatted. Devil May Cry 5 is a good example especially now that they re released some of the older games. Metal Gear Rising 2 is another good example.

It's certainly possible. Most Japanese companies would be more than happy to make an exclusive game provided Sony mitigated the risk (development costs) enough. It's all a matter on who would take a chance with a franchise going exclusive. The outrage from SFV going exclusive was fairly muted (compared to ROTTR, maybe it being on PC was also a factor), so practically any dormant IP could be a candidate.

Big Marketing push for a AAA 3rd party game from Sony to compensate for a lackluster end of 2015 and fight off Halo

So Battlefront

Sunset overdrive 2 please! Don't care if it's multi, I just want it.... Although I think that microsoft will be bank rolling this franchise from now though

Seems way too soon for a sequel already. I think they should at least get Ratchet and Clank out first.

I definitely expect more situations like Street Fighter V throughout the gen, I just don't expect them at this E3. I guess we'll see.

Crackdown? Do we know if that was even in development before the reveal or was that another Phandom Dust situation?

Crackdown is a 2017 release and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have anything substantial to show yet. Could just be a brief vertical slice look, but given their line up I don't think it needs to be there unless it's genuinely in a state of readiness.

Exactly. The potential IPs

Devil May Cry 5 - makes sense as Sony has the DMC fan base as the series started with PS2. Also this IP isn't a huge seller so it's a risk for Capcom but it is still quite popular

Metal Gear Rising 2 - same as above, though the series started before PS1 game, it was the PS1 game that made the series popular. With Konami moving away from console business, I don't see why they wouldn't mind Sony handling things for them

Phantasy Star Online 3 - Nova was a Vita exclusive. So I wouldn't be surprised if the next one was a PS4 exclusive.

The Tomb Raider outrage was, as far as I can see it, due to it being announced as a multiplatform game and *then* going backward into exclusivity. In contrast, SFV was a PS4 game only from the start.

But I agree SFV is just the beginning. I expect a lot of Japanese publishers will be dialing back their Xbox love this generation as Playstation hegemony is reinstated. They already are, frankly.

The 90s are long gone, and SF is no longer a "big" franchise. It probably didn't cost that much as well, hence sony paying for it.

Even with a healthy lead, paying to have big console selling games exclusive is expensive... Has sony that sort of money to throw around?? I don't think that they have in all honesty

You don't know how much money Sony has.
