You'll never come out ahead with Arc Sys if you wait. Other companies maybe, but not this one. There's always another version coming out 8-12 months later and if you're lucky it'll be a on disc upgrade.

Continuum Shift and extend were $40, Chronic Orgasm was $60. Persona Ultimax was $60.
Could easily be an updated storyline, I mean his original getup wouldn't really work with the story now. Maybe he got thrown in jail? Here comes Bridget Cody?

Ah good, this will be the release that adds PS3 stick support, right? Not as good as a patch, but they certainly wouldn't ignore that glaring omission, especially since MK and SF have basically standardized its inclusion... Right?

So if they are pulling characters from the story then testament's chances at this point must be pretty low I bet. I hoped he would be in Xrd Sign since he's been in pretty much every game and was the main antagonist in the first one, same with Baiken. Here's to hoping they can somehow implement them into future updates.
Chronophantasma and Ultimax added brand new 20+ hour fully voiced story modes, while Extend is just an expansion pack with new characters and short additional stories.
Continuum Shift, I can't defend.
There's probably a new story mode to go along with it when it comes to consoles so hope is not lost.
But speaking of characters of story mode, I hope they bring in Gabriel.
Actually yeah, this is a better question.
I have little to no hope for Robo-Ky, so at the very least can a brotha' get his main (Baiken) and his 3rd (Jam) characters back Arc Sys?
STILL don't get how Jam didn't get into the initial release.

This is true. I just hope with their rendering system and character creation being easier now that they are 3d models mean that we can get more substantial character updates in the future.
Does anyone know the tentative release date for arcades? I'm sure with how arc has been with this game releases the console update will on be a few months off of the arcade.

I think there is a pretty good chance Baiken and Anji will be added in this one.
Johnny might be my 2nd favorite GG character so I'm pretty hyped.

no surprise. It's not really doing well in Japan with the casual market compared to Blazblue. wouldn't be surprise if Persona Arena is doing better.

This is why I don't bother buying 1st version fighters from Arc Sys anymore because they don't take long for the next version to drop.

Johnny was super expected to be the next character what with him having a model and a previous version to base animations on.
I hope (if we get more than Johnny and shadow person) we get that general from the story mode. The President of the floating city place (memory is broken right now).
