Wait I think remember what tweet you mean, didnt they say PSX was going to be big for them? Man I need to find that tweet..

EDIT: https://twitter.com/corybarlog/status/518438643354988545 Found it! While he didnt say anything about PSX, it would make sense since they wont be at E3 this year

I sure as hell hope so as much as I am excited for a god of war I would hope they move the franchise on with a new character and story, but my gut tells me this will be the last one with a kratos story

So does anyone have a list of things that are rumored to appear? All I see is the 3 PS4 games Verendus posted

- Media Molecule New IP (teased a reveal (this year) by the Creative Director on Twitter)
- Bend Game (rumoured new IP, their project was brought up recently in a Gamasutra article that doubled as a recruitment ad)
- Quantic Dream Game ( Quantic Dream CEO will be at E3 this year, doesn't necessarily imply anything though )
- GG New IP ( Horizon has been leaked enough that its showing is almost taken for granted at this point lol )
- Level-5 Game ( L-5 mentioned revealing a new PS4 game at E3 & wanting to make another ambitious game at the scale of WKC, etc )
- Uncharted Remastered Collection ( pretty much 99.99% confirmed at this point )

E3 prediction:
All conferences are great. Nintendo fans go crazy over reggie's body. Most fans go bananas. Some fans consume salt. Overall balanced diet.

If gt7 is shown, I will publicly announce my love for Emma Watson. And some others too surely.

Also, I believe in the last guardian. The end.

Edit. Dark cloud/chronicle sequel or remake would be ace.

Because of the Ghibli association, I kinda don't want a sequel for Ni no Kuni just as Ghibli films don't have/need sequels.

If they were to collaborate again, I'd love something either in the art direction of Nausicaa/Mononoke, or maybe something closer to the creations of Isao Takahata or Studio Chizu's Mamoru Hosoda.

Ok after digging for info, I found how much each Uncharted game weighs in terms of data that needs to be in it in other to play the game.

Uncharted 1 GOTY - 20.3GB UC1
Uncharted 2 GOTY - 20.8 GB UC2
Uncharted 3 GOTY - 43.5 GB UC3

Easily you could fit the first 2 games in a 50GB blu-ray and have 9GB to spare for 1080p treatment and the UC3 could go on 2nd disc with 7GB to spare for 1080p treatment.

And dont forget those games file sizes would only get bigger on PS4 thanks to 1080p videos.

TLOU PS3 was 26GB and on PS4 that jumped up to around 43GB.

A lot of signs pointing towards a Uncharted collection so if it happens I am super curious how its handled.

And it would be fun seeing what they touch up in Uncharted 1 since that game has a weird look about it.

TLoU:R also had Left Behind (The stand alone release is 18.8GB) and the MP maps.

Ok. Ridiculous question. But what are the chances of a new Playstation 3 SKU annouced, maybe one without a disc drive? I'm about to buy a white Ps3 off ebay, but was wondering if I should wait till e3. That's ludicrous thinking, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW MAN!

Anyone worried about UC collection after what happened with PS4 version of USFIV?

Not really since it won't be done by the devs who ported USFIV, at least I hope not. I think ND would be doing QA or have some sort of control on the collection so their franchise isn't muddied.

Ports handled under WWS supervision/management has by and large been 'decent-to-good.'

USFIV is under TPP/Gio Corsi.

I won't say it's not without concern, but it's less of a concern due to the separation of divisions within SCE for first-party and third-party. The ball's on Shu/Scott Rohde though.

With USFIV & Borderlands Vita though, clearly TPP needs to relook at QA + whoever they get to handle ports of games in general.

Had no idea about that, good to hear.

Yeah, Shu or Boyes talked about it at one point, how they don't know off-hand what the different divisions (third-party and first-party) bring to the table to E3 until they actually show their hand at whatever E3 planning meetings they have. Shu mentioned that he didn't know about No Man's Sky being secured as a first on PS4 title until shortly before E3.

I mean, I'm sure if either of them made a call to each other to ask what megatons they have, they can probably find out, and whatever they reveal to each other during their meetings, but got 'kept for another event' instead (like the rumoured Horizon concept video that could've been shown at E3 last year), but day-to-day businesses of each division are separate.

So is it possible that Platinum has anything new to show? We know Scalebound will be there, with Konami going the way it's been I would be surprised if there's a MGR2.

Which btw, is the Scalebound team the TW101 team?

I could see maybe $30 each and then a $70 bundle for all three. Save $20 buy buying all three together.
Separately I could see:
U1 $20
U2 $30
U3 $30
Total: $80

But given the size problem (Specially if they go for 60fps) I could potentially see a Digital only release, with all titles sold separately or in a $60 bundle. Obviously there's bound to be people that only wish to play 1 or 2 of the games instead of all 3.
Or They could always just remaster U3 and give us U1 and U2 as PS Now rentals :P

What are some of the games y'all would like to see but don't expect to ever come to your system? I would love Marvel Heroes or an Ultimate Alliance 3 to be announced for consoles. Same goes with Crash.

My wife and I would lose our goddamn minds over a new Ultimate Alliance game(the first UA is my wife's favorite game of all time).

I'd also like to see a proper KOTOR 3 done by Obsidian, but there's pretty much no chance of that.

It's certainly possible simply because as a studio it's important for Platinum to always have contracts in place for their teams since they're independent. Yusuke Hashimoto (Bayonetta 2's director) mentioned last year that he was already working on his next game. But I think it would be far too early for that to be ready given that B2 wrapped up late last year. They should have other teams that have been working on stuff as well. The Rising team would be one.

As far as Scalebound goes, it should be the 101 team since Kamiya is leading up the development.

I don't think I could hold them if they were digital. I would have to delete too much stuff to make room. The PSNow versions worked quite well for me (in a pinch). I don't think they will be digital only, though. I really wouldn't mind seeing a true box set, like a movie box set, where each movie (in this case, game) is held in a standard case, but all together are held in an even bigger box. The box could have special artwork from the trilogy on the front.

No wonder Bayonetta was so good

Does anyone know if Adam Isgreen is only involved with sevond-party studios at MS? His twitter bios says Ori, SoD, Phantom Dust, D4, Killer Instinct and...other things. Secret things. They are all second-party developers. It makes me think that the "other, secret things" will be second-party as well, thus being something we don't know about. He already stated we'll have to wait for E3. Would be cool, since Rare's new game is really the only big surprise we know of at this point.

Well, it's obvious that first-party publishers always have some amount of external developer publishing deals at any point of time. Even Nintendo, with their wealth of internally developed output works with external developers all the time.

If anything, it's the 'second-party stuff' that's always the most unpredictable stuff. Sony's first-party deals with thechineseroom, Tequila Works, Q-Games and Wild Sheep Studio all came out of nowhere, with no leaks implying that they were making first-party games for Sony.

I guess that's true. Perhaps the Xbox press conference won't be so predictable after all!

I just had a nightmare. The Uncharted Trilogy was completely separate, with Uncharted 1/2/3 Remastered for $40 each. I can see this happen, because of God of War III Remastered (why on earth God of War Ascension is not included ?).

There's no way that'll happen. Perhaps it may take multiple discs but most def in one package. Especially because the Uncharted games have multiplayer whereas GoW didn't.

Well, define predictable.

To me, saying stuff like "there'll be one or two new digital IP ala Ori from unknown devs" still quantifies as predictable. Stuff like Ori or Entwined, while interesting, doesn't really make for unpredictability.

The reality of 3rd-party external publishing has its limitations, in the sense that there are not that many independent 3rd-party developers of the AAA-caliber that's unaccounted for. There's folks like Platinum, Insomniac, Crytek, Playground Games, etc, but a lot of them are either accounted for already, or isn't really on the table as a possibility due to various reasons. (Crytek-Ryse 2 seems unlikely based off previous rumours)

I'm more excited for this E3 than usual, and that's something because i'm always incredibily hyped lol

Like everyone's saying, every conference has the potential to drop some incredible stuff, things that have been in the works undercover for far too long.

Sony is both the one i'm most excited and worried, they have so much secret stuff in the work that we don't know about and tend to spread announcements through the year and that's fine, but this time coupled with the massive focus on 3rd part could make for a tame conference.

I know various trusted insiders said they'll still have 1st party announcement, but still things could change last minute (for the worst).

Lost of possibilities of Sony first party studios showing something. Top is the most likely, bottom is the least likely.

Level 5 JRPG
This is confirmed to show

Uncharted Trilogy
With the delay of Uncharted 4 and so many insiders saying this is coming. I say this is likely, it could potentially come with Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta. This is probably Sony's big fall game which is a bit lame as it's a remaster but it's better than nothing.

Horizon
This is another likely game to get announced this E3. Rumour is this supposed to be announced a while back but they delayed the announcement. With the leaked concept art and the fact that Guerilla Games second studio has been working on this for a while.

Quantic Dreams New IP
I wouldn't have said this was likely before, but with the recent tweet that Quantic Dreams will make an appearance and the fact that it's been 2 years since Beyond, this may get shown this E3.

Sony Bend New IP
We heard rumours they are working on a horror IP, I reckon there is a 40% chance this may be shown. The reason is because Bend had a few scrapped projects before they started on this so I don't reckon the studio has had enough time to show it off yet.

Media Molecule New IP
If it wasn't for Tearaway I would have said this will be likely shown. But I reckon Media Molecule will wait until Tearaway is released before they show this. However on the flipside they can still show this for the Morpheus section for E3.

Gran Turismo 7
This can potentially happen but usual tradition is GT takes a while but with people saying GT6 car models were future proof for GT7 maybe they are more quick in development.

Gravity Rush 2
Perhaps this is now a Vita/PS4 game. With the leak of Gravity Rush Remastered for PS4. Maybe they have done this as the sequel is for PS4. However I feel they will announce this ar TGS.

The Last Guardian
Another year maybe this time lol

God if War 4
Developer has already stated they won't show this at E3. And it's still too early to show in my opinion after Santa Monica had its scrapped project I don't think they are that far in development. Maybe PSX at the earliest.

Scalebound will most likely be there (unless MS decides to show it in TGS). Since Kojima was not directly involved in MGR, I think there is still chances of seeing MGR2, but its Konami so who knows. They said there are more Bayonetta stuff coming this year, since its too late for a Bayo 2 DLC, I guess it will be PC port of Bayo 1 (or even Bayo 1 on PS4/X1) or a spin off game for handhelds. And there's Hashimoto's new project, too.

And Scalebound's team is not the TW101 team:
