2 weeks to go and barely any E3 leaks.

It seems that every year we get something pretty juicy from the big 3 leading up to the press conferences, this year that's not the case so far. Everyone has been pretty good about controlling the flow of information and we haven't been able to catch a whiff of anything.

What's going on?

We are getting the usual bullshit "leaks" that are obviously made up by some websites for hits but nothing from a truly trusted source. Not yet.

Will the floodgates ever open this year? Do you think this will be the norm going forward?

Do you guys prefer this over conference spoiling leaks?
 
Seems like info is being legitimately released ahead of E3... Bethesda making no effort to hide a Fallout announcement. XCOM 2, new DLC for Forza Horizon 2, Forza 6 already announced and presumably details coming at E3... I guess that's one way to neutralize leaks.
 
No leaks, but some companies are teasing their stuff prior to E3, like this possible Fallout 4 case. And I dont like that as well

Almost every company makes a series of incredibly predictable games in 2015.

Unless you're the kind of person who finds sequels to mega million selling games shocking ("OMG FALLOUT 4!" "XCOM 2!" "DARK SOULS 3!") you're not going to be surprised.

Well, there will be some indie games out of no where, but team of four people generally don't leak.
 
Because it's just E3 2014: Redux

This time we actually get to see some of the footage of all the games they announced last year
 
1. Silent Hills bought by Microsoft as Xbox exclusive ＝ X denied by Phil Spencer
2. Dark Souls II = ? from VG247
3. New Fallout ＝ √ teaser tomorrow
4. XCOM2 = √ revealed by 2K

That's not true. I leaked Skylanders + Uncharted Remastered. Okay, I know that's nothing, but I have others.

The leak got delayed until 2016.

Amen to that! Last few E3s have been nothing but boring because everyone already knew what the big surprises were going to be. I refuse to go on a GAF blackout for weeks before E3 to not get spoiled... Here's to hoping we get little to no leaks this year.

While it isn't shocking, it's still exciting to finally see something happen. Those first seconds of footage, the trickle of info, you know. Of course the question isn't whether the game will be made or not, but rather when and what changes will it bring.
 
No leaks?? Is that a joke?

We've had a handful already, and they've been threads posted on this very forum.

Gears of war remaster, uncharted remastered, new Xbox one and ps4 with more storage that will be announced, plus a few others.

This E3 will pretty much sum up this console generation so far, it will be shit. Mainly remasters, and indies, a few 3rd party dlc exclusives, timed 3rd party exclusives, some vr bullshit (that is destined to go away like 3d) a couple of console revisions and a price drops and pretty much end of e3
 
I hope it stays this way, I hate leaks.

/edit: but yeah there's been a bunch of info I wish I hadn't seen already.
 
Fallout 4, Dark Souls 3 and FFVII HD Ultra Remaster are Nintendo NX Android VR free to play with micro transactions exclusives.
 
Maybe not but there are a lot of them jumping ahead with their noses out in this hype race

Wasnt not expecting Bethesa to outright confirm FO4 before the presser

Not to mention all the other teases and early confirmations, both good and bad, that have hit early

I can't think of anything we might expect but haven't heard about. But then again, that's kind of circular thinking.
 
Plenty of things have snuck out if you're following closely. Honestly, the number of leaks every year is grossly overstated. Things like ntkrnl blowing an entire conference are anomalies, not common.
 
Well this year videogames are stupid. Sooo, they're all just going to wing their conferences. Maybe mash a few buttons or whatevs.
 
I hope there are no leaks/minimal leaks everyone loves seeing the surprises! It may also be pointing towards a very standard E3, I think we already know of all the big releases coming just from general knowledge everyone has of the industry these days.

But hopefully there will be a few decent surprises and at least some exclusive first looks at stuff we already know exist such as Battlefront, Fallout, maybe even a GT7 preview.
