Environment thumbnails done earlier. Took about 3 minutes per thumbnail.

Edit: also hope this is OK. This is what I posted in the last comment from last page:

My first mechs.

Finished up an NPC concept.

Think Space Lawyer Jackie Brown with some bounty hunter thrown in. In a perfect world, she'd be voiced by Sammus.

(Slightly outdated) pic of more pedestrian members of her race, for reference:

Another quick thing

Also.. I didn't think I could auto hate Fire Emblem: If any more than I did.. but I do.. lol
Horrable.

love your style
Thank you! I'm still in the learning process though, specially for vehicles as it's something I've pretty much never done.
Here are the last vehicles I did today during lunch breaks and a bit at home.

Not a fan of the rounded shapes of the right. They remind me of Akira Toriyama or something similar. I like the sharper and more detailed stuff I did on the left.

Either way, tomorrow I'll go back to doing environments!

Inspired partially by C.B.'s butts.. :D
And also thinking about getting around to playing DA:I eventually.. >___>

Something fast before I go to sleep!

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Started working with Dascu for some promo art for his game Malebolgia

7 hours or so. Simply can't wait to do the rest!

That looks great C.B!!

Here are some environment thumbnails I did during the last 30 minutes of lunch break.

Most of them based off instagram photos I posted months or years ago.

Two Edgar Payne studies using Copic markers. This stuff is so hard :( makes you appreciate Photoshop all that much since you can't go back to lighter colors...

11378037_1608731819373457_513608954_n.jpg

About 10 minutes each.

I like doing these composition studies in the morning to get my mind active

Yeah these look super helpful with making images readable very quickly. I really need to dig into values again. I've been trying to push them while working on my actual work but it doesn't really give me the freedom to experiment more thoroughly since they require a certain atmosphere.

Finished the second one!

Done in about the same time (maybe less like 6 to 7 hours?) as the other. This one was much more difficult given the amount of focus points and making things plausible. This one is a little less refined than I would like. I might be able to sneak in a couple of clean ups though.

That looks great C.B!!
.

Fucking breathtaking, CB.

That looks amazing, C.B..

Also, thanks guys!! I was hoping my hard work would pay off ;u;

I really like this one. I wish I could find a place with a decent scanner so I can share my drawings too.

Thanks man. And it would be nice of you to join us!

Third one :

6 and a half hours. This one was a bit trickier trying to make a good composition that would work in landscape. I also think I'm starting to burn out a bit, so tomorrow I'm having off...by going into my other job lol. Oh god. Hopefully come Saturday I'll be able to really make these work again.

From today's stream.

Not sure the exact time on this one since I slowed down a bit towards the end due to some inturruptions, but I want to say roughly the same amount of time really. Probably could have played around with my values a bit more on this one. I think I may have gone a bit too soft. Only two more left

Been a while... that and I'm 2000+ miles away from home. Anywho, here's a thing I did, started it on the 7th and "finished" it earlier today.

totally ruined it when I decided to color it in with my prismacolor pencils. The tooth of the paper is stupid thick/large and meant for paints and such, which I do not have.

Here's what I've done today during the lunch break:

Also I've spent already some 3 hours and plan I put one or two more into an environment sketch in working on. It got too dirty and noisy and I want to clean it up a bit but if I can't I will just post it here tomorrow and start another one.

Trying to make an enviro to go along with it but my skills are pretty lacking there:

I don't think it looks that bad at all! However, I'm not really versed when it comes to environmental stuff...

Would love to see something you've spent more than your usual time working on.

Finished the last one!

About 7 hours again for this one. Really wish I could have spent more time on these since they were all fun subjects to work with. Kind of strange coming up with compositions to work horizontally but a great challenge! Feel like I've learned a lot, and just hope I can be able to do even better quality stuff in this amount of time sooner than later.

I'm actually pretty bad at full concept art in general. Still learning, but this month I'm staying somewhere else and not in my house so I don't have access to a PC except at work.

I did this during three lunch breaks (so around 3 hours) but it's pretty bad:

Still WIP though. Here's another one I posted some weeks ago:

https://www.artstation.com/artwork/desert-rings

For this one I had done some rough layouts that I posted here as well so I got a better image. For the one above I went straight into Photoshop without any layout tests and it shows. I added the bridge on the foreground right before saving the pic I posted (hence it only being a silhouette for now).

And what I did today after dinner

Bonus points for whoever guesses correctly what location is this sketch based on (is somewhat famous).

A few ball point pen drawings I've done over the past few days. Probably spent the best part of a day on each:

The next one is a lot rougher and unfinished:

I need a lot more practice with environments. I'm fine with modelling them in 3D but feel like I never quite know where to start on paper.

Not enough jelly for me to throw at this thread. Astounding works folks; seeking inspiration in the right place, I am.

some 3/4 view practice:

went in initially with no references but pulled some up for later details and what not. 3/4 is a bitch, man. Also, dunno what's up with the blue tint, photo just kinda came out like that o.O

Allo it's been a while!

Going to work and then having to go out socialize takes a lot out of me.. which is why I like holing up.. to get some fun art done! xD
~ 2 hours?
Trying to get a nice demon hunter design down for him, but this was the first and easiest thing to pop into my head, so subject to change!
