Port Mackerel Splatzones:

Looks quite fun with 2 Zones again. I better try and play on it before time runs out!
I just figured out you can throw the sprinkler and it can stick to walls. I figured the only option would be to set it down, becuase, ya know, it's so amazing. Now it's godliness is unparalleled.
Sprinkler for President. .92 Gal Party.
Yup, you see the two pink lines at the left? Those were me. I was doing stupid bad consistently for a few hours. It wasn't until maybe 4 hours (wait, what? It's been that long!?) ago that my horribad streak became a great streak. I was actually hitting people again. =D

When you see a super jump marker, place an ink mine where they're about to land.
You're welcome, RG users.
I feel dumb for not thinking of this sooner
I do both just to make sure.Good idea, I usually just wait for them to arrive and kill them straight away, but I will try to remember your idea![]()

They could kill your teammate, so the sprinkler would disappear. Although that wouldn't stop him or her from throwing another sprinkler there again. One of the most absurd things I've seen done in this game was a team member throwing a sprinkler onto the ceiling over the splat zone on Urchin Underpass and leaving it there. Because the other team had nothing that could consistently reach it to shoot it down, it pretty much just set up an auto win for us.
I was in tears. :lol
How much better is the hub?
Oh Port Mackerel has two zones? I thought Blackbelly was the only one with two.
Because playing on Port Mackerel all day was an amazing experience.
Oh wait I never want to play that stage again.
Lv9 can't participate in ranked matches.
Eurogamer review is finally up, of course it's an essential

Love that one, lol
yup. advanced sprinkler placement does insane amounts of work. you can throw it aggressively into key enemy pathways leading to a choke you're holding, behind you to hear an enemy coming when you're camping a ledge like in mall, stick them to the walls opposite of underpass's splat zone so the enemy has to ink a new path and THEN go out in the open facing away from you to get that sprinkler (at which point they're already dead), stick it on moving objects...I just figured out you can throw the sprinkler and it can stick to walls. I figured the only option would be to set it down, becuase, ya know, it's so amazing. Now it's godliness is unparalleled.

Both of these are true and the first one is why I rarely super jump. The worst is definately the right one. I play charger mainly and I always want to get up places but I always get caught out by one little gap. Drop down to fill it and BAM dead. Every single game.
So... I dunno if this has been mentioned yet, buuuut...
...is it pure coincidence that all of the Octo bosses have an X-Box logo on themselves?
Oh my god, the final boss absolutely lives up to all the hype surrounding it. It's original, hugely entertaining, and intense, with some true white-knuckle moments of genuine challenge.
Nintendo really outdid themselves here. Holy crap. I'm still reeling from it.
Also, completing the single-player mode has really improved my online performance in a noticeable, appreciable way. I can't believe how much more easily I'm taking people down and avoiding others' attacks compared to before I finished it. The campaign does a great job of teaching you the instincts and gut reactions you need to be good at this game.

I just assumed they were all the same character.
Isn't the Wii U supposed to download updates while in standby? I had to boot up the game to download the 1.2 patch.

Also, am I the only one who feels the squid sisters vocals (final boss phase, and credits) have kind of an Enka vibe to their vocal style?

who isn't tbh, the only shoe primary that comes even close is stealth jump. finally got ink res rockefellers coming in todayOk, I'm now a fan of Ink Resistance Up.
The "inkrails" too, there could be a stage with huge gaps where you could only travel through inkrails (or super jumping to comrades). Some SP mechanics should be implemented in the online mode for example those sponges that you've to splat to make them bigger.
Those mechanic could really give some twists to the maps, imo.
