The hell? How many of us will be alive then? Lifes too short
You see, playing these games is a privelage!

Pshhhhhhhhhh, my PS3 can do all that.

What if the game is 60 fps?
Objectively, you mean.
You see, playing these games are a privelage! The sense of entitlement is crazy. Movies don't get increased graphics, nor does TV or youtube, or chess, or volleyball. I can't believe we're getting a Fallout that is going to use more hardware assets to produce an even more realistic world and a more engaging experience than before (barring Beth totally dropping the ball - unlikely). Like, it's a gift that your favorite games get evolved, not just appended.
Can't wait to see him backpedal when it launches in 2016
If this is true then I don't think I'll need to buy anything else this fall aside from maybe XCX. MGS5 comes out in the summer technically so it doesn't count.
Yep, definitely looks like an early 360/PS3 game.
I was paraphrasing a previous post. Also claiming an objective opinion doesn't grant much merit unless there is enough evidence to support it. A short trailer of what could be an 80 hour game does not as far as I am concerned.
Suuuuuuuuuuuuuure
This is one ugly fucking game. And animations that would be out of place in almost any open world game from last gen. I cant even tell you how disappointing that trailer was.
You know Behtesda has made a lot of money from the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series. A lot of money. This is how they repay us. Pocketing every spare cent and rolling out this same shitty engine over and over. Bunch of cocksuckers.
You just took screenshots from GAMERSYDE and put them on IMGUR?
Wtf....
What if the graphics were bad because:
1. It supports VR on consoles
OR
2. It is multi-player
The NEOGAF RAGE ARMY is coming for you Bethesda...

...so yeah, you better...you better watch out...
.my life is complete
Would you change your tune if it was 60 FPS? Which we do not know yet?
What if the game is 60 fps?
What's the over/under on Gamebryo?
Saying something is "factual" and then proceeding to provide an opinion doesn't really give your arguments the credibility you seem to think they possess.
This is the colorful RPG gen. Witcher 3 had its color palette upped considerably from the pre-release media. Then you have Dragon Age: I which is very colorful and now Fallout 4. I'm loving this. No more drab washed out color palette's for me.
Please sir, with your thinking cap on give me a critical analysis of the literary, artistic and direction/design merits of that trailer.
What did you find that it did successfully? How did it illuminate for you a cohesive picture of the goals, intentions, and characterizations within the game?
There is objective analysis in life. Games are not immune to it just by virtue of mostly being uncultured dopamine fixation power fantasies. They can be evaluated on their merits in a vacuum using existant structures and considerations.
I can objectively state Don Quixote is superior to Twilight: New Moon. Near cases are obviously more difficult to evaluate but as we say: a spade is a spade. And that trailer had spades of shit with nary a coherent thought to show.
Why would be backpedal? It literally doesn't affect him either way.
I dont remember ever coming away so hyped from a trailer, and seeing so much negativity on gaf afterwards.
Ive given my opinion several times so for you I shall again.
It lacks cohesion, there is no narrative, it is disjointed. The trailer opens within seconds with flashback scenes before even establishing what is going on. Our only characterization is a dog that lacks any distinguishing actions, features, or explanation. Is the world our focus? If so than why is it constant quick cuts of various brief locations interspersed with how they used to look? Is this a time travel game?
Similar to FO3 the brief glimpses of settlements are convoluted, ornate, and fantasy in the amount of technological innovation these post war communities apparently can scrounge together. Who has power armor hanging in a gas station within view of a city?
What again should I be impressed, impacted, and influenced by? In what way does this trailer impart a cohesive vision on the narrative/moral goals of the game? It's a very generic the apocalypse has happened retread tonally in a series that had already addressed that in the very first and third games. It's not a surprise this is Bethesdas idea because they are a financially motivated focus group testing creatively deplorable outfit.
So yet again...what does the trailer actually bring to the table?
Actually, the IQ is terrible -- right now at least. Higher res I guess, but even most ps360 games had better AA.I know it has said before, but except the IQ, graphic it seems a ps360 port for now. O_O
I seriously do not know what people were expecting. It's a Fallout game and it's open world. It was never going to be the most gorgeous game this gen has ever seen.
The graphics look awesome to me. The best part though is they look like they can actually run on ps4 / xb1. I would take this over bullshots and a downgrade right before release anyday. Day fucking 1, even with Bethesdas glitches.
