I saw the trailer as it popped up, but I haven't been able to keep up with any impressions of it until recently.
The whole time, I was thinking how happy I was that they didn't go through the route of pushing the graphics because this means a few things:
- We are likely to get 60fps
- The draw distance and instance size is going to be large, could even have none
- Means that they spent a lot more dev time on unique content
I just feel that, above all, Fallout 3/NV was a much better experience on PC because of IQ and draw-distances, better loading times etc. So much that regardless of how the game could look, this is the most important thing a game like Fallout should have.
Now if the game doesn't have great IQ and framerate then I'll be confused. Like, Saint's Row confused.
