Managed to do notthatterrible in my first series of ranked battles. Still sticking with the Tentatek Splattershot because I was awful with everything else I tried.

And I still hate krakens.

Jesus I just had like a 7 game losing streak in turf war. It seriously felt like the game was just pairing up the same teams over and over again and the other team was just incredibly skilled and coordinated

While this is true for most rollers it isn't that simple vs a good one

The only rollers you are going to die to are the ones that sneak up on you. It will still happen to the best, sure, but it isn't broken and you can see it coming if you have spatial awareness. I suggest using gyro controls so you can be looking around yourself more.

That's what I'm saying, there are plenty of good roller players out there, but they aren't broken at all. It's still a good weapon but definitely not broken.

So this just happened. I have never even seen someone get 14 splats before, let alone do it without getting splatted themselves. Guess I ate my Wheaties this morning (Frosted Mini-Wheats actually!) I think this was only my 5th match using the N-Zap '85 as well, still getting used to it.

My record so far is 21:4 on Saltspray Rig.

I'm one of those people that can't seem to keep a match for more than 30 seconds before being accused of having a faulty connection and being dropped.

I basically can't play Splatoon at this rate. Never had a problem with Mario Kart or Smash online...

So the ink saver challenges are pretty tough. All the other challenges are either way too easy, or just tedious. Wish there were more ink savers than there are though.

yeah, there's another when you hit lvl 20 but the special for it is lame iirc.

there's one that's pretty brutal/tedious but the others aren't too hard.

Yeah there's one with point sensor and inkzooka. Love the sub, but ink strike is better imo. But that point sensor is just too good

I was referring to the future modes posted in the OP. I find it ridiculous if they're actually gonna keep them to Ranked where it's not possible to group with friends. Seems stupid for a game that launched bare minimum features to begin with. 4 modes with only 1 on non-ranked is dumb.
