I've started playing more stealthily and have started doing better. Initially it's all about getting my teammates to the center.....hopefully. If they think it's important to secure vital sections that is.
 
I join at the Brush disappointment club. It's fast, sure, but it's hard to attack people with it and even harder to ink the place. It's one of the worst weapons I tried, if not the worst.

Yep. When the goal is to cover the ground I stick to the roller.
 
Does "Run Speed Up" affect movement speed when using a weapon too? Like moving around with roller, brush, firing a weapon, etc.
 
How do you get the guy in the alley to reset stats on your clothes? He doesn't mention it when I talk to him. Is it locked until a certain level?
 
Managed to get 886p with Inkbrush on Arowana (of all maps) and did the best of my team, although we lost and had a disconnect.

Well, I tried doing my part.

Yikes! At least they caught the glitch relatively early.

By the way...I thought perks didn't stack? Or is that just across different types of gear?
 
Right so after being the top scoring player the last few rounds,

If you're an Inkbrush user I'm convinced that you just need to run your own race. Ignore what everyone else is doing - focus on covering as much as you can without getting in the way of others. If you're going to be on the offensive you have to sneak up behind people, which should be possible enough if you make a good approach.

Arowana is still a garbage map for it.

Kills don't earn you any points besides the ink that splats the ground when they die. How many kills is scores? What weapon are you using? You should also worry more about whether you win or not than where you are on the leaderboard.


I should've added a probably to my earlier glitch comment as we don't know for sure. However it seems likely. Its also possible he discovered it much earlier as it wasn't a hard thing to stumble on and I'm sure people did they just didn't notice or get the word out.
 
When do 3-star items start showing up in the shop? I'm currently at level 11 and I only get one or two 2-star items in each shop every day. Haven't even seen a 3-star yet.
 
God, I'm being such a big liability to me team right now, haha.

Going deep into enemy territory and the game stops registering my ink doesn't help much.
 
Also yeah it goes without saying the Japanese have already figured the Inkbrush out one way or another.

They're topping performances on Ranked.

Any map with good chokepoints kills it. If a good sniper is on Arowana you're fucked.

Around there. You should start to see them every day

I wouldn't worry about them though. The main ability is all you really need to care about right now.

Should be any second now. Or maybe at level 12. I'm thirteen and I think I saw my first three star gear one level ago.
 
Paintbrush (they should've called it "The Pablo" like in Japan, though) is pretty legit. Am getting around 1200-1300 points per match with it.
 
All this talk about rollers and brushes and splattershots.

I just want to say I love the squid out of Splat Chargers of all shapes and sizes. So good.
 
Its fucking impossible to find that stupid girl amiibo in Germany, that much I can say about this game.

Haha yeah you learn pretty quickly just how different it is from the roller.
 
ya'll know what fuck arowana mall on ranked, i fucking hate that map. it's the worst. i'm never playing another rotation with that thing.

i just spawned as the only fucking gun on a team of three rollers. three rollers! on fucking arowana! against a team of chargers and .96 gals!

and I still only came second in kills
