I'm sure it's being announced (or a new game by the same team is being announced at the same time TLG is confirmed as cancelled) but I'll be sad to see these clue and hint hunting threads become a thing of the past.
 
IF this game is getting announced for PS4 at E3, I'm kind of hoping they don't just do a "One last thing..." and then a trailer for The Last Guardian plays.

I think you go P.T. style with this one. In the middle of the conference, maybe right after the indie portion, you end that section with an announcement that this cool little first-person indie title is available to download for free now on PSN. Its actually a playable prologue where you explore part of the temple from TLG. At the end you get a reveal trailer and release date.

Just for the sake of being able to watch the rest of the conference and post here I hope they don't do this. GAF will be down immediately and I won't even be able to concentrate on the rest of what they have to say. Plus I'll be out buying a PS4 for every room and closet in my apartment.

Oh it'll be at E3, but ot be vague, the question will be up to you to guess how.

Gameplay teaser? Mention by mouth? Zoomed out shot of coffemug? Zoomed in shot of coffeemug? Poster in bathroom many different ways it can be at E3.

It's happening. They would have said it wasn't by now. They know how the internet is. Sony is especially good at that. I am certain this is the year.
 
I see a bunch of people mention TGS for the re-reveal....question is why bother? Japan home console market is nothing compared to the West. Look at the sales alone....even with Persona 5 I wouldn't doubt if it sells better in the West than over in Japan. There really is no point in holding your big surprises for TGS anymore.

problem would be that, GAF would be down for 2 hours min because of that being the opener lol, instead of GAF being down following the conference.
 
TLG needs to be a Morpheus game. It won't have made sense to delay it out till now. And the impact it will have will be much more pronounced if it is a Morpheus game.

I've been writing for the Guardian for a decade and before that I worked on a whole bunch of Future magazines including Edge and DC-UK. I have been doing this for TWENTY YEARS. Oh God.

He's reliable. Wouldn't peg him as someone who would publish rumours from dodgy sources for clicks, and if he is then he has gone about this the wrong way.
