11 days I think
Okay, so all deals go live at the same time, and will be up for the next 11 days? Or is it like Amazon Lightning deals, that last about 30 minutes?
Thanks by the way. I've never participated on a steam sale before, and I don't want to miss out on some of the listed games.

Gonna have like 10 games on sale for 48 hours each day, and then flash sales every 8 hours, also have a community vote..

This is my first Summer Sale, kinda scared.

Going into this just wanting some great deals on MGR and Ground Zeroes, and probably some good looking indies I've missed out on. Expecting to come out with far more than I'll ever play... will try my best to avoid that.

MGR is absolutely worth every fucking piece of the $7.50 I paid for it, AMAZING GAME!

Remember your training, apprentice.

Xbox One controllers were on sale this weekend at a store and decided to pick one up. Come home to find that the Steam sales will begin tomorrow.

Coincidence? Fuck no.

Do you guys think Dead space series has a shot at showing up? Hoping for those three games, jade empire, fallout games, dead rising 3 resi games, and a few others.

Hoping to pick up the following and nothing else:

Batman Arkham Origins - Cold, Cold Heart DLC for $2.50
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition for $4.99
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood for $9.99
probably not gonna happen

I paid around that much, played on the hardest initially available setting, am not a enthusiast of this type of genre, but still easily got my money's worth. It was a good challenge but you have to be willing to get your ass kicked and learn how to parry. The story is not great but the final boss/sequence is ridiculous (in a good way).

Top 5 games on my wishlist are.
#1 Ori and The Blind Forest. Hoping for $10
#2 South Park and The Stick of Truth. I will bite at $10.
#3 Dying Light. I'd like to pay $10-$15, but realistically I'll be surprised if it is under $25.
#4 Resident Evil 4. I feel like there is a good chance it'll be 75% off and I'll bite for $5.
#5 Far Cry 4. $15 Is the most I am willing to pay.

I am not buying any Resident Evil games until they package it all together and put it on sale for min 75% off.....

I'm prepared to wait

I went into my first steam sale around 2 years ago, brought 25 bucks and a naive idea that that would be all I needed.

Many an explanation to my wife followed me topping $100 easy lol.

Was a blast though. So many good games.

Tomorrow's a state holiday here, but I'll still probably wake up regular time to see what the flash deals are, lol.

Devil May Cry franchise has a sales page, with a dedicated listing for DMC4 SE. They wouldn't go to the trouble if it weren't going to get discounted, right? If I can snag it south of $17 or so, I may preorder. Interested in playing as Lady & Trish.

I just keep a eye out on Ori and the Blind forest, and maybe Lego Worlds if by chance if goes on sale (I probably get it either way in the near future).XD

SP is worth it even if it is not $10... had a blast with that game.

Shantae and Life is Strange are on my list.

Also, Resident Evil 5 DLC hopefully gets added to the capcom sale this time around.

Goddammit Capcom, Untold Stories DLC better be on sale this time. Don't believe it was during the pub sale they just had recently.

It wasn't. Was pretty shitty.

Thanks for this. Wondering how much Total War: Attila will be. Also wondering how much the Enhanced Editions of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, and Icewind Dale will be. Probably going to skip out on this sale though.

I got MGR for $6 during the winter sale. Actually got it off Amazon as I missed the daily but Amazon still had its price-matching active. Totally worth it.

Btw keep an eye on Amazon and other sites which might price match or beat Steam, especially right after the daily or community deals change.

I have 113 games/DLC on my wishlist. Can't wait for some good $2-5 indie games and $5-8 AAA games in my annual game-buying splurge.

I wonder if the games on those sale pages will really all be discounted. I couldn't afford the Lego Star Wars games last month, so I'd love to get those and the Indiana Jones ones for cheap. But I noticed the Resident Evil page has Operation Raccoon City on it, and that hasn't been on sale on Steam in a year and a half.

And GMG in particular often has a 20% discount coupon that stacks on top of their deals
