Guys I am a bit bothered with my inventory .It is just a mess.As I am currently trying to organise things want to ask you ,once I have the ingredients to make a potion/deconcoction/oil and have made it and it's in my inventory, are there any benefits to keeping those particular ingredients in my inventory since the item would just 'restock' itself using Alcohol when I meditate? That'd be a way of keeping carry-weight down and inventory relatively clean.

No, because different plants appear in different recipes. Alchemy ingredients have their own inventory category that you don't need to go into and they weigh 0.01 a piece, though, so you really have no reason to manage them.

What's eating away at your inventory is the weapon/armor category and the junk category.

is Bertram is a criminal and a 2 faced rat (he points out houses for Red to rob and then rat them out to Hunter) while the band of Red are merely bandits. So Bertram is the more of 2 evils -> kill.

But what i like about this quest is the reference to

I think it's because people don't realize how much junk is taking up inventory space. Clearing out the fifth tab in the inventory is essential.

Right, but until you finish the quest

you have no real idea of what a huge mess he's caused. Until then, it's a snitch vs. people who are going to keep robbing and possibly killing more people even if Bertram is out of the picture.

I know the disappointment, man. It was one of the things I was hyped for and the save import robbed me of it (by failing without telling me and just loading up the default state instead).

This game isn't very subtle at humbling you just when you're getting the hang of things and feel you've built yourself a decent deck. I gave up because I started too late, but now I am focusing on Gwent for my 2nd time, and I am out for blood.

I've played almost 50 hours and I'm about to start the quest "Get Junior" in Novigrad. I had a look at what quests I have left to do and damn...there's a long way to go it seems. Decided to take a break from the quests in Velen (not that I'm far at all mind you) to finish getting all the Places of Power in Velen and Novigrad and spend some time with Gwent, which I think I may be becoming obsessed with. Bought cards off everyone in Novigrad and been taking on anyone I can find.

Beat the first opponent of the Novigrad Gwent quest on my first try and on thinking I'll try to do the others. Funny how someone on these quests can be easier than a random innkeeper though I guess some of it is luck of the draw.

I wish that there was a way to keep track of who can play the game and who you've beaten though.

Also wish that there was a more reliable way to get crowns. I'm afraid to sell anything but weapons for fear I'll lose crafting materials and not sure what I should dismantle.

Finally finished up game decided to rush it when decided go Skellige so didnt do a good chunk of content.

Loved the ending and the whole game in general. I have admit when first heard it was going open world I thought it would ruin the plot and tight narrative from past games. Instead they nailed it to create just a massive open world game that oozes love and attention to source material and its narrative.

Was still jarring hearing Angry Joe in the game though lol

I have a weird tale to tell here, and I am assuming this was a bug, but I'll spoiler it since I think it could be a spoiler but really I had no idea what the hell was going on.

I was exploring around the Velen(?) area in the northeast and wanted to see what that huge estate was on the map. I came up to it from the southeast side and found a little gate that I thought was the entrance but it did not open and did not even say it was locked. "No problem," I thought, "I'll just jump the very short wall". So I did - it let me no problem. Now I'm on the grounds of this beautiful manor with butlers and guards and whatnot who seemed to have no issue with the fact I hopped the fence into their locked mansion. I am very confused at this point since I figured such a large and detailed area should serve some sort of purpose but I haven't found any quests or events or anything. Now here is where it got weird:

I enter the manor itself with more butlers/servants and whatnot and make my way upstairs. There in the bedroom is a dead naked woman tied to the bedposts. Just there, you know, chillin'. No one seems to care. When I used the Witcher senses she glows red as does a bottle on the nightstand. I can investigate the bottle and Geralt will check it out but not say anything.

Eventually I just decided to leave, but then couldn't get out. All the doors were locked and I couldn't jump back over the wall. That's when I figured I probably wasn't supposed to get in there in the first place. Very weird experience. I reloaded a save and went around to another side and found out this was called the Vederburg(?) estate.

It really is unfortunately easy once you get over the early hump but by the time it sunk in I was too far invested to restart on a higher difficulty. It's a shame because now at lvl 25ish it's a joke. I have only worn Griffin armor the whole game, staying in it until I'm high enough level to upgrade to next version. Same for my swords, only green swords alternating between schools / upgrades as I level. makes every single item I pickup or get as a reward completely useless beyond selling or dismantling. Hell I also have like 12 unallocated skill points because I didn't know what I wanted to use them on but honestly don't seem to even need.
