I think the inevitable Battlefront PS4 bundle is going to drive a fuck load of hardware.
Impossible Witcher 3 sold less than Splatoon. I think Witcher 3 sold more than 500,000, if not more than 750,000 and less than 1,000,000. Yeah, Splatoon is never going to do that in its first two days...I think 200,000 units sold would be a good debut, in the end.

Well PS2 was bit younger when PS3 launched than PS3 was when PS4 launched. Not to mention X360 that was 8 years old when Xbox One launched (Isn't X360 pretty close to PS2 thanks to insane late gen sales?). Of course still PS2 was a monster.
What else came out in may?
Than splatoon could beat and cause a ruckus?

X360 is close to PS2 but won't surpass it. The reason it's so close, as you say is because it had no next gen competition for 8 years where as the PS2 had next gen competition after 5 years.
I forgot about Witcher 3, so much for that hahahah
Ranking within the top 5 would still leave me in VERY pleased awe.

I know Halo is a big deal, but I really don't think it will have as much pulling power than a Star Wars game around the same time as the movie. It's going to be massive.

Shoot, totally forgot about that (probably because the game is just not all that interesting for me as I'm more of a SP gamer, but it is definitely a big release). Yeah never mind. It's really up in the air.

It's done amazingly well in Japan. If it approaches that in the U.S., too, it'll be quite a win for Nintendo. New IP on a deadening system. Quite something, indeed.

now we have to endure another month of explanations as to how xbox will outsell ps4 next month, how sony will *need* to do something, etc.
Might wanna convert that to Access or maybe find a way to get it into a free database software. Could make running comparisons a lot easier.

Xbox June price adjustments will help. If Sony doesn't do any price adjustments for E3, I wonder how well that Batman bundle will do against a lower priced Xbox.

On the bright side, we can ignore all that because there's no way the Xbox One will outsell the PS4 in June with Arkham Knight coming out along with that PS4 bundle.
With TLG coming out this fall thats unlikely.

GTA V bundle wasn't enough last year, and last year wasnt even big as this year going to be for Microsoft. So I doubt it. Will sell good regardless, but nothing that would top the sale. And Microsoft is also mentioning Battlefront in their news plus it will be available 2 weeks early on EA Access.

GTA V is an old game though, not really a good comparison.
There really haven't been any price adjustments though. Really they just added a $400 1TB SKU on the market. The XB1 has been $350 for months now.
I think the Batman bundle can do very well for them. Not just for this month but going forward. I hear the LE bundle sold very well.
With Batman being current gen only and having a bundle at no extra cost it presents an easy entry point.

Yes, based on Amazon chart. Its still above GTA V and COD AW if you look at best seller of 2014.

And tbh, at that time we didnt know the game will be this broken. All their sales came from pre-order and first week I believe.
