I'm sure this has been discussed, but I am unable to play the minigame - it just says, "There was a problem trying to join a game. Please try again later."

Yesterday, I was able to join a friend's game but now they are "more than 10 levels beyond my highest completed level [99]".

Have you guys been able to get around this / solve the problem?

Thoughts on The Forest both gameplay wise and price wise?

How playable is The Forest right now?

Single player its fine, game is gorgeous if you got a good rig. It still has some yank especially in co op mode. One thing i like about it compared to Stranded Deep, which also a good survival first person game is that Forest is challenging, whereas Stranded Deep is kinda easy, tough still fun especially if you like tropical islands, Lost, Cast Away etc. I enjoyed the game even on a old crappy 285gtx, and now with a 970x it looks really amazing, i even enjoy playing without monsters just to build stuff and see what i can craft.

But its only 33%, tough it is a daily so it probably wont go down more than.

The daily deal today is no different than its price any other day of the sale (10% off), so you can wait if you want to see if it will go any lower, but it probably won't. That being said, if you wait and it never does go down, it will still probably be at this price point.

I would hope so. That's some pretty bad math if they actually charge you $45 to get both at once.

Steam is pretty bad about this in general, there are often bundles during the Steam sale that are more expensive than buying the products individually

Grimrock 2 is a great game. I finished it, but some of the puzzles were way too hard and I needed a walkthrough at times. Other than that, great game if you like the genre.

Right click on it in your library. Should be an option to view the CD key there. Or click on it and check under links on the right hand side.

Anybody have any experience with Grey Goo? Kind of tempted to grab that...

If you are a fan of the classic Total Annihilation or early Command and Conquer style of RTS, I quite recommend it. The only real difference between it and other games of that old school mentality, to modern standards of course for quality, is the inclusion of the Goo.
I really love the Goo as a faction. Having units essentially be spawned out of moveable bases and the ability to let everything just roll over and absorb enemy factions to increase yours is just good fun.

It's good solid fun, but be warned even with the unique aspect of the Goo, it's not really going to do anything too new or different, and is rather just a refined state of RTS that lets you plan out and wait just as much as swarm rather than constant micro-management on too tedious a level.

For good silly fun, ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS . It's length will be on you and your friend for how much you get into it.
Classic, and meaty found on the ground, Gauntlet .I'm at 40 hours with a friend and still going.
Trine trilogy , any of them will do (though I don't believe 1 is all that great) for co-op platforming and puzzle solving as much as the battle.
Double Dragon Neon has some detractors, but as a beat-em-up and an excuse to high five a friend in real life and game, I found it to be worth the time.
Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed. one of the best kart racing games you can find and play. We sometimes play it online as well over in the Steam Community. Just post on over there and I'm sure you can find someone to hop on with you if you so wish for that.
