Hmmm... any way we can see how many entrants are there per team? I actually like cats and dogs a lot, I'm more interested in joining the low side to make sure that teams can be just a tiny bit more evened out :)

The team with more players(Rice) may have problem finding opponent team, your "good team" will break up because of time out.

And I changed team every time I saw a player under LV10 in my team. :|

Since the Splatfest trailer showed small glimses of Kelp Dome, Bluefin Depot and Camp Triggerfish, I think the future stage releases might be something like this:
* A few days before the Japan Splatfest: Kelp Dome
* A few days before the NoA Splatfest: Camp Triggerfish
* A few days before the NoE Splatfest: Bluefin Depot

(Sorry for the double post.)

This happens so much to me. My team has the other guys completely on the ropes and pushed back to their spawn point, and in the last minute they manage to take all of us out and make a comeback and win
 
My guess about the shirt is that when you look at it in the equipment screen it's just a generic gray shirt with a splatfest logo on it, not whatever team you have. Most likely they only have one "splatfest tee" in the game and just edit it depending on what team you're on. After splatfest ends it would probably stop displaying your team and just be a gray splatfest logo shirt.

I was hoping you keep the tee so you can show off what you chose. And I hope you can keep the base otherwise I won't care to level up its abilities.

For the first, it's probably because they're running into some capacity issues with the servers. I'm seeing more disconnects and five second lag between me fire at something and area gets inked. Separating Splatfests by region keeps everybody worldwide from hammering the servers at once.

(And yeah, it leaves some extra room for cultural jokes. The hot rice versus bread debate doesn't seem to translate super well to the west)

Donno about the shirt thing. It's an interesting idea to keep the event feeling special, I suppose, but it'd be nice to get one as a collectable.

Also, I was staring at the Cargo Ship on Port Mackerel and dodges a Kraken and shot someone without turning my eyes away from it.


I'm in Zen-Mode. Playing some Top-Shelf Skills here.

Getting surprise kills is so good. Yesterday I played some TF2, accidentaly let go of my arrow as a sniper, and headshotted someone. Then later in splatoon, I had the zone capped so I randomly threw a bomb without looking. Seconds later 'you splatted japanese name!'

Sometimes I forget most people can't read Japanese names. I wonder what it must be like in games where it's just you and seven Japanese people and you don't even know what name to yell when someone splats you
 
That's about 5 straight games I've had a communication error with randoms, strange stuff. Can always tell it's coming when the paint stops showing up, ah well.

Obviously a sign to go watch some more OITNB :)
