Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

I may be one of the only ones who prefers Arowana Mall in Splat Zones as opposed to Turf War. Those added chain link platforms next to the sniper perches at the middle have given me a lot of success. Throw down a grenade from that chain link platform onto the middle, and stifle the enemy that may be on their sniper perch.

I still enjoy Arowana Mall in Turf War, but I enjoy the Mall in Splat Zones more. Stick to the flanks and you'll get success!

This guy knows what he is talking about, ranked mall is great especially because of the added platforms, my favorite map after port mackerel

I do like ranked Mall better than turf Mall

No sorry you can't, only local play 2 players, but I hear it's not that good I never tried it. It's a great game otherwise and incredibly addictive but this isn't possible considering you NEED to use a gamepad to properly play the game online and the wii u doesn't support 2 gamepad play

Nope, that's just the way it is. Eventually you learn to adjust but it's certainly not ideal.

That's a nice way of saying it's annoying and shitty. In a positive mood today!
 
Yeah, this game has cheaters who use lag on purpose to their advantage. I just played against a "Chester" using a paint roller. He made his way deep into our territory many times in a straightforward manner and without doing anything remarkable. He just kept rolling forward. I saw him coming at one point and had an ally ready jumping to my location. I saw Chester coming around the corner and was providing cover for my incoming buddy, killed Chester easily as my buddy landed... seconds later we were both dead. Presumably because of lag he also kept jumping deep into our territory without any worry of being splatted. Chester kept coming in number 1 on his team despite being very mundane in rolling skill. This really sucks.
 
Lag is very uneven for me me today. I'm on 1Gb fiber and people are able to splat me half a second before they even pop out of the ink on my screen. Frustrating. Other rounds with less lag I wreck shop.

After days stuck in B with a roller, I just cracked B+ with a powered-up custom blaster. Learning to live without ninja squid but keeping ink resistance up for now. Hate being indecisive about weapon choice but I do enjoy moving up.
 
I love laying bombs with my dying breath...just killed 3 people with the Special sticky bomb thingummybob lol

Am on 80 points on C now...had around the same points on C+ yesterday until I went on a losing run. Playing the Ranked games in small doses to avoid long losing runs is certainly working for me so far.
 
I can't get over how bad the player base is at this game, like 90% are just fucking awful. I know it's a kids game so need to not to be harsh but it really is the game with the worst players that I've played.

Yeah people are really dumb... I spend a lot of time yelling at my own team. :P
 
Don't understand how this game works in ranked. What's the number underneath the remaining points? What's the deal with overtime? Why is it that when we have control it doesn't always count down?

I keep getting to 80-90 in B and then going on huge losing streaks back to B-. It's really frustrating since most of the time it's just that my team got stuck with some chucklefuck going 1-13 or similar shit.

In Italian they're "Stella" and "Marina". Both are common names, when put together they read "Stella Marina" (starfish). The game is full of terrible puns in Italian, would be curious to know what's it like in other languages.
 
It kinda makes sense that Splatoon is the first game since people who lost can still make a comeback, it's probably the least known game among the ones they will show.
