Fallout 4 - Multiple E3 Gameplay Demos, Releasing November 10th, 2015

Was able to get an order in for a PS4 Pip-Boy edition around 11:18PM central time. Got a confirmation email.

After this press conference, it should be clear why people did not want Fallout 4 to be a cross-gen game. There is no way the scope and quality of this game could be possible on PS3/360 even with downgraded graphics.

Something I am interested is how the power armor looks like it is delivering a different gameplay experience. I hope that they have power armor that is built more for speed. Perhaps it doesn't have much armor, but instead has thrusters to move quickly.

I have to wonder if some people here actually enjoy videogames more than they do criticizing them at every chance.

We're getting Fallout 4 this year, yet apparently the quality of the animations is a more pressing matter.

I also assume these people spend more time complaining about certain games instead of actually playing them, or at least playing something else they actually might enjoy.

I have a mixed feeling about this game. All the gameplay mechanics are basically improvements from FO3 and Vegas. But in story wise, it's a prequel to all the previous Fallout games that has ever been released. I don't like prequels.

I feel like the prequel to Deus Ex story-wise was considerably underwhelming (no fault of theirs the original is just too much to live up to) and wished it wasn't so significant by being the precursor. KOTOR did a great job at doing it with the star wars history, and I think Fallout 4 is in good hands

so if your family died would you then become gay?

Here's your scenario:

Your MC is bisexual, settled down with someone of the opposite sex, world went boom, decided they'd like to do things differently this time.

Easy peasy.

(Or Bethesda adds the option for one Troy Baker-ish voiced husband dude to talk to the Troy Baker-ish voiced MC, like some sort of Bakerception)

Also, just to get the super nerdy FO lore stuff out of the way: annoyed that they're leaning on Super Mutants and the Brotherhood of Steel, again.

Thanks to Vault 87 Super Mutants are here to stay on the east coast. Whose to say there wasn't other vaults or facilities with FEV reserves. So I'm sure they'll be a big faction. BoS though might not be a huge aspect, but maybe just some minor group scoping out the Institute and state of the Commonwealth. I really really hope they introduce some interesting new major factions. The whole synthetics angle is ripe with possibilities.

Upon on Amazon but Amazon is getting hammerd

Managed to get an xbone preorder through since that went up first than a ps4 preorder

Yay! Got a PC Pip Boy edition for me and my wife. We are dancing in celebration. Thanks to you guys for alerting when it went up. :)

I'm still worried. But it looks like I'm wrong. This game apparently takes place between Fallout 2 and Fallout 3.

Yeah as I was analyzing it, they are basically telling the stories of different survivors/heroes that found themselves in the history, in each of the Fallout games. That way they can either be completely independent of each other story-wise and intertwine at will
