Steam Summer Sale 2015 thread of refunding everything you buy (June 11-21)

It most likely will. Did go on sale during the winter @ 4.99 for just the base game.

I have a copy of To The Moon, if you'd like to save on that 2.49. I'll link you to the ancient giveaway that has remained untouched for months since most everyone has gotten it in bundles.

Oh thank you!! @_@

The port of killer is dead works fine with the ini tweaks, that´s a game that would be infinitely better without some of the stupid shit they put in there, i know is a suda game and i know what to expect but in this game it seriously detracts from it, and for some reason i still can not truly fathom i played it two times, and i really, really liked the music for the chapter 7 in the japanese garden, wich is not on the oficial soundtrack by the way wich sucks

Same as above: all this dishonored talk has got me thinking about playing it again. Traded in my 360 version years ago so lets see if the current -50% price goes down some more!

Thanks. I'll wait for the last day then.

I've been having a blast with Spintires if anyone was on the fence with only an hour and a half to go. I'm not a big sim gamer but this one has been pretty fun and a good time sink when all my friends are offline.

I swear each day my "team" in the Monster game performs worse than the day before. I haven't gotten passed 860, and it looks like my team won't even break 700 before the game resets.

Alien: Isolation is on daily deal today (75% off). It probably won't go for any cheaper, right?

Dailies never get a cheaper price during the sale.

Activision. You'd think those older games would be 75/80 off already.
I'd like to see the sales data they're basing those decisions on. Is it really possible that people are willing to pay like €13 for CoD4 still? I really, really doubt it... I'm convinced that there has to be more money in throwing it up there for €2,99.

Basically I just want CoD4 for €3, Kotick pls

What's your opinion of ys: ark?
It's a great game, just not the best Ys.

What is the best Ys game to get into?

I'm not usually into JRPGs, but gameplay videos look interesting enough for me to consider trying it out.
Ys Origin has the best gameplay. And the best music. And it's the best ARPG of all time. All time.

I'm being serious by the way, it's also in my top 5 best-controlling games in all genres ever. The controls are incredibly immediate and satisfying.

Looks like a mix between a regular racing game and Twister Metal.
I'll grab it once I get home and before going to bed, thanks for mentioning it =D

Semi off-topic, but Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition is €18,99 on GamesPlanet.de , redeemable on Steam. It's a legit site, bought from there quite a few times now and never had any issues. Keys are delivered instantly.

If you like How to Survive they are putting out a Third Person standalone version of the game next month. It's 3 bucks if you buy it before release.

I'm in the middle of Origins right now, beat Oath (fantastic game) and haven't even bought 1&2 yet. So.. I'm going to hold off on Napishtim for now. Ys is a fantastic series though. Probably the most underrated, forgotten (or unknown) soundtrack in gaming.

So which is a better game, Pillars of Eternity or Divinity OS?

Damn, that's a tough decision.

Pillars if you enjoyed the original Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale games.

Divinity OS if you enjoy turned based RPGs that slightly resemble XCOM with the tactical battles.

Personally, I'd choose Divinity.

Getting into a decent lobby is damn near impossible. Every day I've ended up in crap ones that can't even crack 1000 levels. I never get more than 102 badges either, so I can't help very much.

They really should've skipped the whole resetting every day thing. Give people who can't join some Reddit-organized super lobby a chance at some XP.

Is there a good chance that Broken Age will get a deeper discount? It's really the only game I want (well, the only one I'm willing to blow my small amount of steam money on) and I'd love it to hit the £5-7 range. Anyone know what was the biggest discount during the last sales?
