Steam Summer Sale 2015 thread of refunding everything you buy (June 11-21)

I'm hoping to see some Paradox stuff go on sale today. I know Hearts of Iron 3 is at 75% off thanks to the mini game tie-in, but I want the last two CK2 dlc before the game expands again. Only other thing I'm looking out for is Gal Civ 3; it was 50% as a pre-order, but being a recent release, I doubt it'll hit that again until the winter sale.

Damn, that's a tough decision.

Pillars if you enjoyed the original Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale games.

Divinity OS if you enjoy turned based RPGs that slightly resemble XCOM with the tactical battles.

Personally, I'd choose Divinity.

Hmm... OS it is then.

Man. The past few Steam sales have pretty much been duds for me, I've maybe picked up 1 or 2 things. For the most part, I've had everything that even remotely interested me.

So far, this one looks like it's great though. I've picked up:

Castle Crashers
Orion
Legend of Korra
Gods Will Be Watching
Deponia
Hero Siege
Always Sometimes Monsters
How to Survive
LISA

For less than $20! Feels good to participate again.
I doubt I'll get around to playing most of them because I'm insanely busy these days, but still...

I'm actually contemplating on picking up 2K15 if it goes on sale again, I'm not the type of person to pick up sports games (I think I had a basketball game for gamecube back in the day), but it's grabbing my eye for some reason.

Damn, so the community actually didn't unlock the 9th game for today? Too bad. My team was up to the 7,000s when I last checked it last night, so I guess Valve is doing some hefty scaling as the sale goes on.

Yeah, I'm curious as to what that deal would have been. They should have a "Just look at what you could've won" section or something.

Do you know what the tags were for that game?

Don't hold me to it, but I believe it was gonna be a Japanese RPG.

Dangit.

New sales are up. The prices aren't updated for some of these games, but here's what's on sale for those of you at work:

Edit: Updated picture. Most deals should be up now.

Stay far away from TOXIKK. It would be an excellent Unreal Tournament type game, but the player base is basically non-existant.

Tip: Remember to refresh the store page.

It seems there was an error, and all of the deals were pretty terrible (topping out at 50% off for games that had been much cheaper in past sales). I refreshed a couple of times and it got fixed.

Cook Serve Delicious for $0.99 is easily the single best deal so far on the steam sale. I can't recommend this game enough. I've played more hours of it than any other game on Steam. It's made by one of your fellow GAFfers (chubigans), who was able to quit his day job to pursue his dream of making games full time thanks to its success. If you don't own it, please consider buying it. It is difficult, frantic, well designed, funny, and packed with tons of content. Truly a gem.

Really a very special game.

Please buy it.
