Metal Gear Solid V E3 2015 Trailer

First MGSV trailer I've been underwhelmed by. The discussion of language reminded me of the worst and most wordy parts of MGS2 and 4, and doesn't exactly sound like an interesting basis for a villain's motivation.

Also, he's doubling down on the horror elements which looks stupid to me, though obviously in the trailer they're out of context.

I don't know, this one reduced my hype if anything.
 
Game looks AMAZING but that was one of the worst e3 trailers I ever saw in recent memory for a good game =P

Nothing makes sense, the scenes don't fit the music, you can't understand what is happening in half of the scenes ....

Kojima, PLEASE STOP TRYING TO BE A HOLLYWOOD DIRECTOR and focus on what you know that is awesome gameplay with meta references

Not really heavy to be honest...its basically 90% of what we already know or have no idea wtf is really happening in most scenes, I say watch it cause it is the LAST e3 Kojima-Metal Gear trailer, what'd u have to lose?

Impossible to tell for most of it. The only thing that would stand out as a big spoiler would be the very end of the trailer. So if you do watch it just shut it off once the full list of developers popup on screen at 5:04 mark.

There is like 60 minutes of gameplay since the reveal of the game. This was clearly for the fans that are more interested in the story since we all know that MGS gameplay is always top notch that goes almost into obsession into how polished it is.

Also I can't stop watching this trailer, so many questions, fuck the rest of E3 I am going to watch the trailer again and again and again until it the game comes out.

Dominant and recessive genes don't mean weak(worse) or strong(better). Liquid was wrong.

It's a trailer made for fans, there's a bunch of references to different key elements of the series.
But yeah, for a newcomer it might be hella confusing.

I mean, this is standard for Kojima, if you followed the series until know.
 
Indeed, the "female" skulls are dressed almost exactly the same as Quiet:

From the hints we get in the trailer, and what it's appearing to be.....with the opening monologue hinting at changing ones identity, if Skullface=Big boss, then the implications over Ground Zeroes that brings......is brutal

MGS1 Spoilers:
I think Solid Snake was the one with the recessive genes. Ocelot mentions that at the very end of the MGS1 when he was talking to Solidus.

His hair wasn't dyed, both Solid and Liquid were born with dark hair. Liquid's became lighter later on and Solid's looks blonde in that pic because of the lighting.

This and the whole manipulation thing that was said in the trailer. Kojima said the game would have 1984/Orwellian themes, but I wasn't seeing much of that... until now.

rofl, we've had 30 minute gameplay demos almost every year alongside amazing trailers.

We get the best of both worlds.

The scene where Big Boss is standing amongst his men and turns to see Skull face tipping his hat, if you look as the camera keeps panning, Skull Face isn't actually there, you would see his hat and the rest of his body on the otherside of of BB's head if he was.

Yeah a lot it looked silly to me but this part and the dancing zombies took me right out of it. Messy trailer.
