BC is actually a big deal to me, as someone who never owned a 360 and always wanted to try a couple of games for it. Will definitely pick up an XB1 at some point in the future now so I can try Lost Odyssey, Halo ODST, and a couple of others. Some of the indie games shown were impressive and appealing; I wish more time had been spent with them. The "big beast" trailers like Gears, Halo, Tomb Raider were tame in comparison. I can see the EA Access program and the Minecraft VR stuff being really popular with the right target audiences, but neither includes me. Leveraging Windows 10 so heavily strikes me as a very smart move given the continued strengthening of the PC market, and it could prove crucial in years to come. My verdict is that it's a solid E3 conference - nothing mindblowing, but a good appeal to gamers, and most importantly of all, more clean water under the bridge since the 2013 debacle.
