I'm guessing Sony's footing most of the bill themselves. Their goal is 2 million and Shenmue 2's budget was, what, 40 million? It was the most expensive game ever made at the time IIRC. The kickstarter is I think mostly to convince investors that there's fan interest.

Why not exclusive? It makes no sense.
We already lost FFverses13 exclusitivity to a technicality. The rename to FF15 means its now going to be multiplatform.

dude, it's all good, why keep other gamers out? PS4 is the lead platform, and likely all the marketing and what not. with the remake, It's timed even.

We don't want Sony to play Tomb Raider games, this is a win for all gamers today baby! and that's why it's an amazing conference.
