I love how both Sony and Microsoft followed almost the exact same script.

BIG BIG megatons to begin with, with a bunch of new IP's which looked interesting.
Followed by a mixture of shameless plugs for third party paid exclusives and indie games. Finishing off with another big announcement.

Personally feel that it was a close fought fight, with Sony winning slightly from the new IP's, but Microsoft has promised to show the 3 biggies (Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound) at Gamescom.

Finally Uncharted gameplay>Gears because I could actually see what was going on...

I dunno, man. I don't think MS was even in the same ballpark. Sony crushed it this year.

Overall a solid conference.

+ Last Guardian footage finally!
+ FF7 remake to be multiplatform with only timed exclusitivity for PS4! Everybody wins!
+ Shenmue Kickstarter for multiple platforms!
+ Hitman getting a reboot is great news, especially after Absolution.
+ Project Horizon put on a solid show, need to see more, but shows promise.

- Dream wasn't my cup of tea
- Firewatch didn't show much, didn't intrigue me.
- An overabundance of third party multiplatform games in the middle and near the end.
- Timed exclusive add-on content everywhere, hate it when any company pulls this shit.
- Vita having next to no presence at the conference
- No Man's Sky looked nice, but it was such a small tidbit of gameplay. Needs a much bigger gameplay demo.
- CoD Blops III premier didn't impress me much either

Some negatives.

- CoD looked underwhelming and Sony should've just not bother with the DLC
- Still not sure about No Man's Sky
- MM's game looked... Well, not sure what I think
- Exclusive/Times exclusive DLCs. Quit with it.
