So The Last Guardian looked kind of ho-hum, looks like they shelved it for 5 years and just picked it back up yesterday and decided to show a rough gameplay demo. Exciting to see it but some perspective would be nice. Shenmue is years away and we have to pay for it, why can't Sony foot the 2 million? Horizon and MM games looked amazing. UC4 environments were unreal.
 
what was up with the PlayStation 1 font before the Uncharted segment, I thought this was a hint and got Crash flashbacks, I legit thought this was Crash after what unfolded at this conference just before, one hell of a presser
 
Why the fuck are people saying that 360 BC is bigger than any announcer here? Not on GAF obviously but in other comment sections.

No one will ever be able to top this e3, its over. You can never have e3 again. Not even sony themselves.

E3 IS DEAD AND SONY BURIED IT.
 
There weren't even very many noticeable lulls this year. Maybe the that Star Wars kids thing. But this may have topped E3 2013.

Shit, nevermind. It absolutely has.
 
Definitely one of the better conferences. Not sure what I'd rate it. Final Fantasy VII remake announcement was perfect. Shame there was no Persona 5 or virtually any Vita coverage.

this will be fully funded by the end of the day

Only major complaints is that they showed nothing to play on the platform this year. No real reason to have a PS4 until next year and even then a lot of the games they showed, Shenmue and FFVII, are coming to PC also. It was a great conference but there are certainly flaws.
 
Great and expected announcements but no Vita, no Sony platformers, no JRPG's (where the hell was Level-5?) were the big downsides.

7/10, I'll never forgive Sony for ignoring Vita.
 
Remember when Sony used to spend 45 minutes on spreadsheets and sales charts?

The change theyve gone through has been amazing. I think PS3 stumbling and Vita failing has paid dividends in how the company is focused now. They know they're not invisible and need to fire on all cylinders.

SHENMUE and FF7 will need at least 3 years.
Other than some multi platform games, there is nearly nothing exclusive coming this year .

Because playing 360 games is gonna be such a blast.
 
Sony won no question about it. The 2 games I wanted were announced FFVII and Shenmue III. The other games they showed were great too Horizon, Last Guardian ect. They just killed it this year. Best E3 in years.
 
Fantastic conference that was near perfect.

The Last Guardian looking that way and dragging on was the only down moment.
 
The full gamut of announcements. It's basically unbelievable. I mean there hasn't been an E3 like this since FF13 was announced for Xbox 360.

I simply cannot fathom that those games were announced.
 
That was crazy. Not just for the obvious bombs but they showed proper gameplay for most of the games not just cutscenes. Horizon, Firewatch, TLG, FFVII, No Mans Sky, BLOPS, U4, Battlefront, Shenmue! all amazing.

Easily the best conference so far followed by Bethesda for me.
 
This conference was insane.

Starting with The Last Guardian, unveiling the FF7 Remake, and then the Shenmue 3 announcement was the final straw that broke the camels back; Neogaf went down hard.

It's all ridiculous, it's all the fanboy E3 wishes for the like the last decade contained in 1 hour! The games around it were great too, all ending with new Uncharted 4. This conference couldn't have been done any better as a videogame wet dream.

I can barely believe any of it, it's so absurd.
 
Crazy bell curve on that conference. First half-ish was amazing, then some weird parts in the middle and end that really slowed it down. Maybe from Batman onwards and certainly by the time CoD came on.
 
I had to stop posting because Gaf kept breaking for me but WOW what a wild ride. 1 thing I thought was lost and 2 things I NEVER thought would see the light of day. Absolutely stellar. One of the best conferences I've seen, but mostly for what they showed in the first half and not how they showed it.
 
Wow. This was just so dissappointing. Nothing first party coming in the next six months. If the success of their conference is based on a kickstarter and a remake of a 20 year old game just...wow.

Unbelivable.
 
I still can't fucking believe this is real life.
Still proccesing what just happened a few moments ago.
What a time to be alive
 
The lack of first party titles and the fact that most of what was announced is either next year or a long ways out (Shenmue, FFVII Remake) is the biggest negative I take away from this.

Also wouldn't have minded more on Morpheus.

Curious to know about the supposed Level 5 game we've been hearing about.
