I've been wanting a shotgun type weapon but the rollers are too slow imo, looking forward to this new gun to see how it does. Not really a fan of the sub/special but we'll see.
Thought you loved those burst bombs.

I like Japanese names because I generally have a very good feel for how much they'll lag since there's a small amount of lag with them but it's pretty consistent overall.
With English names it's a fucking crapshoot.
The Blaster is Splatoon's shotgun really
C-rank is rough. While there are good games to be had more often than not there's no rhyme or reason to what's going on. Got to "B" and while the teams switch up, you win some/lose some at least it makes sense. Just have to grind through.

I hope the splatGAF community doesn't die off, since E3 started its been pretty quiet here
Wait, can I just get any bluetooth adaptor for it?
Also, I'll use it for other stuff when I eventually get other stuff for the WiiU.
I think this whole E3 Hype and criticism has turned me off video games quite a bit.
Life was much better and happier before E3 because people didn't butt heads as much or whine about games we barely know much about.

Huh? This was the best e3 in 20 years.
I'm going to actively ignore any game with shooting mechanics on the Wii U because I know my brain can't handle it. I've already been playing something on my Vita and I started tilting it around when I had to aim.
Nope, it's the same as the 360 controller, you need a special PC adapter.

Yeah I haven't played it in a bit and when you go back it's tough.
Reminds me of when I used to take a few days off Counter-Strike when I used to play it a lot. Feels like you haven't played it in a year after 2 days off.

I was in B rank. Then I took an arrow the knee. Or the rest of my teams did.
Now I am stuck in C rank and I basically go .500 or just under, and I never make any progress.
If it were un-ranked, I could understand the see-sawing. But this is stupid. One match I get 12 kills and 3 splats. The next, I go 1 for 2, and my team never has control.
I'm just going to start lagging out my connection with background downloads as I suspect a lot of other players are doing.
Final grip, I dig the motion controls, but the sticky recticle can't keep up. It lets me down more often than my team.

In theory it might work as a panic button if a ninja squid closes in on you.
Oh good, I thought it was just me. I think that was contributing to my 1W11L run yesterday. I was using lots of echolocator weapons and kept getting blindslided.

Beakon actually doesn't make that much sense to me. Chargers tend to hold back and be in safe spots anyway. If they move up they usually do so because they can get to an additional vantage point that they can safely attack from. Why not just jump to the Charger? Where exactly should the Charger be putting the Beakons?
The Custom E-Liter 3K is all sorts of odd. The regular E-Liter 3K already has poor charge rate and doesn't spread ink so well, but at least it has Burst Bombs to ink with. Custom E-Liter 3K is going to ink very slowly unless it lands kills in enemy territory often.
Maybe they are using Cold-Blooded? Cold-Blooded is supposed to reduce the amount of time you are revealed to Point Sensors or Echolocator.

I thought I typed a coherent sentence. =P The Custom E-Liter has beacons and the Kraken, both of which I'm not a fan of, particularly the Kraken. I can see the usefulness of the beacons, but Kraken? Eh. And besides, I really do love my bombs. That includes every type of bomb. =D

They really should have announced something for this game today. It's been such a surprise hit for Nintendo and needs to get nurtured now more than ever. An announcement of a big DLC release coming in the Fall would have been really nice at this point.

Hooray, took almost a year, but finally became a full-fledged member here. Thanks SplatGAF for giving me something fun to rattle off posts about.
Honestly, after the Direct, I was just kinda, "At least I still have Splatoon." I don't need to deal with the underwhelming 2016 schedule yet, I can keep playing Splatoon.

It hasn't turned me off games just gaming culture. Watching people's reaction has become more sad than funny.
I plan to keep playing games through E3 and try to read the news without the reactions or spin.
yeah people get nuts around E3 time. it brings out the best and the worst of our little hobby.
