I know obviously by my avatar, you can guess I love PlayStation, but I also genuinely like Microsoft and Nintendo too for their contributions to the gaming industry.

But.

Holy fucking Christ, the PlayStation conference was jaw dropping from start to finish and will be the benchmark for a very long time to come.

I honestly thought I was dreaming when The Last Guardian showed. Then just nuclear bomb after bomb after bomb.

And now they even have an exclusive Platinum game in Nier for PS4 and have Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest coming, along with an avalanche of huge titles - just such a good time to be a gamer.

PlayStation really deserves everything - they literally are on top of the world right now abd have left one absolutely incredible legacy that I'm sure will go on for many years to come.

Just breathtaking from start to finish.
 
I can honestly say that I think Sony won this year. Why? for the first time ever, I was convinced to buy a console because of an E3. I had one before but..well..I bought it way too early IMO and i'll leave it at that. BTW, took advance of the best buy deal of the destiny & last of us PS4 bundle of 400 bucks...not sure if thats a good deal or not.

Now there are so many games I want to play (horizon, uncharted games, Ratchet & Clank, God of War 3 Remaster, No mans Sky, Shenmue 3 now, & FF 7, etc).

Make no mistake, I love my xbox one & WII U and looking forward to a bunch of there games (Forza, rare collection, Mario Maker etc).

But Sony, finally....FINALLY made me a Sony gamer again for real and it feels good.
 
I never thought we'd get crowd reactions in a conference again like Sony got in 2013, but they proved me wrong. Sony's on an incredible run right now.

Dunno what they can possibly do next year or beyond to top last night, but it'll be interesting to see :)

You literally completely forgot one of the biggest selling franchises for Sony, Gran Turismo.

Listing it like that puts it into perspective. A really good showing if you like diversity.

I thought that Sony was gonna be a no-show @ Gamescon this year?

Edit: TGS in September?... sweet!, that makes the wait for the Paris event a bit less painful.

After this there was absolutely no way that Crash wasn't gonna happen. They know that Crash is on a similar level. There is no other franchise that is left that holds that kind of weight, at least not something that could appear on a Sony console.
 
Jesus how do you ever top this ... You'll need crash plus hl3 to even come close ... Can't beliebe they ha all fukig 3 and horizon being open world and looking that amazing and uc2 level uc4 demo .... Plus this is ignoring dreams ... And then neir being excllusive being announced later and p5 2015 and ratchet shown earlier .... This e3 week for Sony = will
Not be topped .
 
Gameplay of Shenmue 3 and FF7R would indeed be incredible, but I don't think it could top last night because we expect it now, last night... this was all just dreams, fan fiction level.

I don't even think Crash and Agent would top it.
