Thanks Sony for giving what gamers were looking for. You have earned my respect and trust. Could not remember the last time I actually got goosebumps while watching an E3 conference.

My god this E3 will be remembered for years to come...
Not to sound greedy or anything after all we got but has there been any word on Level-5's game yet?

It will never be forgotten. Most insane E3 conference of all time. Not only due to the dream games dropping one after another but also the games like No Mans Sky and Horizon and Uncharted 4 and Dreams. It was just a complete conference that kicked ass from start to finish with just very short lulls for people to catch their breath and then boom another one hit.

GAF was down for me practically the entire conference I think I got in for 5 short bursts of text the whole time lol

Now I'm watching the livecast and it's been 40+ trailers with interviews of all these new games. It has been gaming bliss and a bit of overload. Hard to really focus is and go nuts for a single thing

Good show Sony.

I said i'd re-buy the PS4 for FFVII if it got announced, but with all the other stuff on show im just gonna jump back in now.

I know! I had to hop back to see if gaf was still up and sure enough it was down xD no way it could handle all 3 megatons

I'm puzzled as to why Sony didn't focus more on their 2015 titles in their conference when they have a good lineup of 3rd and 1st party exclusives. They have God of War 3 Remastered, Tearaway Unfolded, Uncharted collection, Everyone's gone to the Rapture, Until Dawn, Dragon Quest Heroes, and Tales of Zesteria and probably a few more that I'm forgetting.

THOSE are what should have been in the conference with CoD/Star Wars book ended by Uncharted 4. Horizon, Dreams, and Last Guardian were interesting titles but they should ideally have been placed in the Paris event.

Shenmue was an extremely weird (and kind of shitty) portion of the conference given that it was for a Kickstarter and the FF7 remake basically took the wind from the SE conference's sails.
Partial joke post?

I am still amazed at how well rounded and paced the conference was.

There will always be people saying "boring" when CoD takes the stage or an Infinity toy is shown, but I loved this. Sony showed that for every type of gamer, the PS4 has something to offer. And Morpheus was a nice and brief introduction, I was worried it would take most of the stagetime actually. And stuff like Ratchet & Clank and Tearaway was not even part of the main show.

My only gripe is that some presenters really had zero stage presence. Like, none at all. But this is often the case with these things (which is so odd to me, I see amazing presenters around me all the time in companies, universities and at events).

I thought I was going to be PC only again this round after resisting the PS3 but I was wrong. Oh how I was wrong.

Seriously? Last Gaurdian is real? I have to purchase you now (in a year or two).

I hope its okay to post here but I just cant find any new information about the witness. did sony show it during the conference? is it playable at e3 and is there a release date? I remember the game was supposed to be a launch window titles a few years ago.. I really hope it didnt get cancelled.

I am sure many other people are craving a good mystery puzzle game.

Nothing yet

Where were you when The Last Guardian was announced (for the second time)? I was in a theater enjoying a 55-gallon drum of popcorn. Not pictured, but to the left: A beer. In a theater. Yay, Wisconsin!

oh man, how were the reactions in the theater? I can only imagine people losing their minds at all of the reveals.

It's the next day.....I still can't believe last night happen. It's all downhill from here.

One simply does take the gamer community E3 wet dreams announcements of the last decade and actually do it! 3 times!

It's not supposed to work that way!

Me as the conference went on:

Yep. This "something for everyone" approach is what I love about PlayStation. The opening montage seemed to have more variety than the entirety of Microsoft's conference. Loved it.

Sony is set for the upcoming year with this line-up, dayum. It was glorious and I doubt this conference will get topped in the near future.

Theatre experience was intense. I'm still straight up shook.

So I gave MS an A for their conference earlier in the day and I stick by it. Backwards compatibility is a huge selling feature IMO. So yeah, I was thinking Sony were on the back foot this time around.

Then Sony pretty much pulls off an S-rank conference. Might as well call it Geniestation 4, cuz that thing be granting wishes now.

Has anything been said about Journey's PS4 release? It alongside Persona 5 were two big announcements I was hoping for from yesterday.

Honestly, how could they even attempt to come close to this next year?

By showing astounding gameplay footage of FFVII-Remake and Shenmue 3 maybe? Heh, otherwise I do not know. This was an E3 conference for the ages. They dropped three of the most widely requested megatons known to gamers in the space of one show, and now all that is left is Half Life 3, but obviously that's on Valve; it's got nothing to do with Sony.

Aye. I was going to say $299 but another year? Lol

Release dates dor their 2016 titles but they will focus on morpheus more probably
Dont think they could top this year. With that said I await TGS to appreciate the event then

New Suikoden would be awesome. Price drop would be huge too.

I guess all that's left is Crash Bandicoot really, as Half-Life 3 is totally up to Valve.

Next year we will actually see gameplay of FFVII-R and Shenmue 3. That is going to be insane.

And we will see a near finished version of Kingdom Hearts 3 and FFXV and Horizon along with WiLD.

I really think this E3 was just Sony solidifying that the Ps4 is going to have a fucking incredible dream lineup of games no one even thought possible. The #buildthelist campaign has been brilliant so far and they are really listening.

Dead serious I think the Ps4 will overtake the PS2 as the greatest console of all time. The lineup of games it will have is just mind blowing

Im surprised by people getting pumped over the conference. I thought it was okay, and that giantbombs reaction summed it up well. last guardian was the best thing there imo. Uncharted looks like uncharted and horizon has potential but that's basically it for the big exclusives.

I think a lot of people have nostalgia blinders on when it comes to Ff7 and shenmue. I played them when they came out and replayed them within the last few years. They're technical marvels for their time but not great games. Both are years off anyways.

Sony showed a lot of stuff, most of which is third party cross platform or not releasing any time soon. It felt like they showed most of their cards for the next two years. Microsoft on the other hand played it too safe. If they dumped the minecraft ar portion in favour of giving us a teaser glimpse into the future with new ip they would of had the better show.

After both conferences I came away not being blown away by either but it's good to see this generation getting into the swing of things. Lots of good stuff coming.

Still no (other) driving games though :( Really surprised we didn't even see clips of anything that could look like DC or GT7.

Don't agree at all, especially not 2 years into the gen and only Limited titles...People are grossly over estimating it's importance, ask the ps3.
