OK for real, that's two times now I actually snuck up on someone only for them to walk left and out of the range of the last hit. Fuck you Ragnarok and Bit.

Yeah happens to me a lot too, I should do that too but I'm usually so focused at aiming that I forget to jump to avoid enemy fire...
And I guess my aim sucks soq there's that.

Fiuuuuuu so many chargers on bluefin!!!!!

I almost swam into a roller, reversed direction, and then killed the roller while running backwards an inch from the roller.

Haha have any of you had this happen before?

I don't know why I got stuck in a room of low ranking players, but I was able to rank all the way up from B- to A- in one sitting while I was fed C-rank after C-rank. Totally felt like I was cheating because I was just so much better than everyone else, but I just rolled with it and amassed as many points as I could before I got bored and quit.

Is the matchmaking broken right now or was I just lucky?
 
Was an explanation ever given for why the Splatfest was pulled? I wondered a little if they perhaps realized they didn't want to hold a time-sensitive Splatoon event on the same day as the time-sensitive Best Buy E3 demos, but that would feel weirdly forward-thinking on Nintendo's part. :P

Probably for the best, though, since I have other stuff happening tomorrow afternoon that would've caused me to miss much of this one.

It's probably because you started the room at a lower rank. Like if you left and went back in it would start matching you with people around your rank again but I guess if you just stay in there the game keeps putting in lower players because that's what everyone else is and there's nothing stopping you from staying
 
BitStyle turning this game into a Stylish Action Game every time we meet. Dude's like the Shadows from Devil May Cry 1 with that shit. :lol

Matchmaking problems they found in the JP Splatfest that they weren't able to fix but tried 'til today.

Also, Nintendo, PLEASE, make a toggle
If I'm WINNING, don't take points out of me for a disconnect. If the match didn't BEGIN, don't take points out of me for a disconnect. I did not quit in that scenario. Just add a local toggle to go along with the online one please. I'll accept patches.

It's strange because even when I joined at B- I was still the highest ranked player. Everyone else was C+ or lower. That has never happened before. And even when people quit, new players would come in and they would all be C-ranks. lol

Managed a 21-5 game on Port Mackerel. Pure destruction.
 
Shooting half-court jumpers in the training room is surprisingly fun.

It's a Euro-style court as indicated by the trapezoidal shape of the lane.

Oh, desperation I believe. I threw a lot of them that match so I wasn't sure which time you meant.

This is my first time using seekers and I'm really enjoying them

They're really fun with ninja squid because the enemy has no idea if you're going in close range to them or not. Lanuch diagonally across enemy lines if possible.
