Don't be too worried about jumping in to the multiplayer, its the best way to get better.
For me, single player got me to get better faster.
Mainly since I was having issues with the gyro and kid2squid stuff, single player got me to master the controls
I skipped single-player and went straight for multiplayer. Isn't this addictive or what? I'm loving this game, do the maps rotate every day or every week? How do I access singleplayer story?
The most important thing for you to learn about chargers is the minimum amount of time it takes you to kill a target, and the range of that shot. For example, 3k liter takes about 60% charge to kill a target with 3x attack power and the range is about 15-20 feet (in the testing area). Another thing is learn to aim fast and once you've learn to do that, learn not to aim at your target until you've got your minimum killing charge otherwise they know you're aiming at them.
I'm sure there's other ways to play a charger but this is what I learned to become decent with them.
Get some monster hunter claw all up in that
Yeah I think it depends on how a person learns best. Playing multiplayer straight away may not be the best if you're the kind of person that is upset about losing which would then prevent you from trying out all sorts of stuffs.
Lol it didn't help that the maps in the rotation had big open space. Also that rapid blaster kept killing me. I underestimated him and got killed for it.God I hated everytime you werent on my team last night, or rather, this morning, always sniping me and I had no idea it was coming until it was too late.
Now that the game has been out for a few weeks, the multiplayer must be a rough learning experience for those starting out. I think it'd be nice if they had optional lobbies strictly for people lower than level 10.

Go ahead and bump it.The one about Judd's secret parties is great too. :lol
In other news, I'm wondering if I should bump the Post Your Inkling thread again with my current threads:
I honest to God don't know how I got that roll on my hat, but damn I wish if I had gotten even one more ink saver sub to play with. The shirt however refuses to cooperate and give me a good ink saver main set. =/
I think they do just for levels 1-5? I never see anyone in that range but I often see one random level 6 or 7 person in my group

Help, broken lobby is broken.
Was it bad like this before I joined? I was having problems online on 3DS too.
Matchmaking is not just level dependent. I created a new character today and it was very obvious. The first few games I was in groups of lvl1-8, but once I got a streak going, very soon I was paired up mostly with level 20s even when I was only lvl4-5. From my brief experience, I don't think there's any issues with low level matchmaking. There are still enough people in those groups. Just that if you're good enough for low levels, you'll immediately find yourself wondering why you're paired with 20s.
I thought most higher level players were only playing ranked. Personally I didn't touch Turf Wars for a very long time. The money add up so much faster in Splat Zones.
Does anyone have the Sailor Stripe Tee with run speed up main?
Whenever I jump into random matches, the level range is so wide, like from 6-20, and it really doesn't feel like people are of a similar skill level.
I can check after this match.
I think winning streaks factor in a lot more than levels. The level 6 guy you played might have been winning a good amount of games. Plus if you just stay in gaf rooms your "streak" is probably not indicative of the general population as a whole.
Great, thanks.
I have that tee Totakeke. You need me to wear it in a match?
Yeah, please.![]()
Oh god, what's wrong with the lobby now???
Anything else? I have a bunch of stuff I can look through before I hop on.
I tried to rejoin and got the error that not enough players joined. Not for a lack of trying!
Did we get invaded by team Iron from Japan?
Look at that beautiful inkling. That's some crazy high points on the brush. I think my highest isn't even 200k.
