Spent the last hour trying to play MCC. Got into the -1nd and -2st games pretty quickly but then got stuck in an endless "searching for players...players found...restarting search" loop.

My mind is pretty blown right now. I've just found out that a girl that my brother went to highschool with and was in chorus with is making it pretty big in the gaming industry.
Her name is Sara Cravens, and she's provided some additional voices for Arkham Knight, and just teased that she'll be voicing a character for a LucasArts game, but here's the big news for us...she's also voicing Olympia Vale in H5G.
I'm just thinking that I personally know someone who knows where the story for H5G is going, and I'm just super jealous.

beginning of gravemind has got the be one of the most unfair and unbalanced sections of any halo game holy shit
start with a needler against two brutes and grunts who start shooting immediately, no reliable cover anywhere and to top it off random enemy spawns. im playing on legendary mind you and im close to smashing my controller against something. jackal snipers were fun against this
apparently theres 7 waves before you can continue and with no buffs or power weapons around this is definitely harder than into the belly of the beast

You can jump up on the sides of the room, which gives you a lot more cover, if you're not already doing this. I didn't find Gravemind too hard, it's just long as fuck.

Nah, it was just renewal for the 2015-2016 year. I wasn't behind or anything. But yeah, it helps to be broke as fuck since it lets me get a lot of aid to live off while I study.
Unfortunately most of that aid is in the form of loans. :/

That's the bounty for Thorn, the drop rates for exotic bounties are rng. So someone might get it frequently, while others it's rare.

Thorn is one of the best PvP guns in the game ATM. The bounty itself is RNG, but if you don't play PvP thorn isn't really that useful IMO.

Thorn is great reight now, easily one of the best guns int he game at the moment, definitely keep going with that bounty. It's totally worth it.
As far as the rarity of the bounty, it seems to be one of the more common exotic bounties. I think it's been an option almost every single time I've gotten a Vanguard Mentor Missive, whereas the one for Super Good Advice I've only ever seen once. I don't kno how random those are though.

For all the pain and suffering you'll endure to get Thorn... It is so freaking worth it. That gun is a monster in pvp, especially for Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner. I forced myself to learn how to use it and get better with it... And it's paid off massively.

What's the point of grinding like a maniac for a weapon that is only really good in PvP, when the PvP sucks.

Well, evidently, IMDB is wrong (imagine that). I've not found any other source that says she's Vale, but her website does list her as being "the Female Spartan", so I'm curious if that's just the default female Spartan players will play as in MP.

I'm not really fond of either H4 or H5 BR sounds, if I had to pick. I'd go with H5.
As for the Boltshot topic, yeah it's pretty stupid. Why they thought it would be a good idea to start with a OHK weapon is beyond me. Also starting with PP ruined BTB in H4.

H4 BR sounded weak, and the increasing pitch as you neared the end of your clip gave it a desperate, whiny sound as well. H5's doesn't have a distinctive 3-round-sound, but it at least has some punch to it, like you're firing hot lead rather than flashes of light.
Wonder if it is just firing too fast?
