From what i gather isn't it mostly old white bigots who oppose this? Because that's what i'm gathering from my facebook feed. It's embarrassing that people are getting so salty and making 9/11 comparisions over this.

Sadly there are also a lot of college aged people opposed to gay marriage.

Can't wrap my head around that 9/11 comparison, I just can't. How did that guy even type that is beyond me.

Nine eleven was the worst thing to ever happen to america. So you can see how this would be akin to it.

Not our startlingly terrible health care. Thats not the worst thing. Nor is our homeless epidemic, child prostitution, veterans waiting years for benefits, disappearing middle class, allowing our government to be controlled by private business interests, the patriot act, the ndaa, Billions of waste a year, prescription drug addictions that kill more than illicit drugs, etc, etc...

Gay marriage is as bad(possibly worse?)as 911. Yep.
 
This is SO bad. I’m just glad I don’t live near any coastlines or fault lines. This is going to be a real SHTF time. Just the other day, a tree, must have been at least 50 years old, just a few blocks from where I work, blue down in a freak squall. Big trees are not supposed to just uproot for no reason. Bad omen? You betcha. Reckon I’ll be stocking up on bottled water and batteries.

What a day! Did not expect to wake up the news this morning. If I wasn't working I'd totally attend pride in San Francisco this weekend, it's going to be a madhouse.
 
I'm glad that my home state of Massachusetts was one of the early adopters because honestly we are pretty backwards in a lot of things. So awesome to see it nationwide though. Hope some of these anti gay activists get a taste of reality and stop their religious bullshit

Holy shit. I expected it to happen eventually, but after a long and drawn out process of slowly convincing the most stubborn states. This is crazy.

So we shouldn't allow elderly couples who can't have children to get married? Or what about infertile couples?

Your argument is a very poor one.

EDIT: If I'm understanding the bolded correctly. Maybe you mean the couple mind melds or something? Either way your argument is pretty vague and ill-defined.
