Do you have to pay extra for the training mode? It's a pretty standard feature in arcade games nowadays for one credit -- hell, Namco had it in the arcade version of Soul Calibur 2 over a decade ago. I guess it would be new for Tekken, though.Namco is trying a bunch of different monetizing schemes for T7.
Like accessing the training mode for 5 minutes requires paying up.
As far as Revenge Match, there's a special option that lets you not get your rank demoted but you have to pay double. If you don't care about your rank, then I guess you don't have to pay the premium price.
I also wonder how much the online functionality helps with revenue, especially with smaller arcades. Knowing that you can dip into a random arcade and be nearly guaranteed to have competition has to be a huge plus.
